Only used it once on Reflection. Coming in to Fort Lauderdale from Barcelona in November on Silhoute. Definitely hoping the luggage valet is available then.

The last time I was on Celebrity was on the Reflection when it was about a year old. When we disembarked we used the luggage valet and it was great. Does anyone know if they still offer the service. At that time it wax $25 per passenger and was a real bargain.

I apologize for leaving out the most important part. In looking for air from DC I came across Royal Air Maroc. Airfare fron DC to Barcelona was about 1/2 of United’s rates. Royal Air Maroc is using a 787 which is generally much more modern than United’s 767. Is anyone familiar with Royal Air Maroc? any info would be appreciated.

We’re thinking about booking a transatlantic on Celebrity Silhouette in October. It’s been a whilesince I’ve been on Celebrity so I would appreciate any comments about the ship and how things might have chaged. Primarily dining and entertainment. Last Celebrity cruise was on Reflection. thanks

We’re thinking of booking Aqua’s inaugural cruise in 2025. I’m assuming that the ship will be pretty similar to Prima and Viva. Does anyone have some insight about the disability staterooms. We just got back from a cruise on Discovery Princess and the grab bars in the shower and throughout the bathroom made it way more convenient. any info will be greatly appreciated.

We’re leaving on Discovery in 5 days (10/28) and I received my Medallion last week along with lots of frustrations. my partner ordered her medallion the same time that I did but they never processed her order and will have to be picked up at checkin. the app shows our checkin time but shows 10/27. Why check in when the ship isn’t there, It also shows the wrong stateroom. Fortunatelt the cruise summary shows the correct info. We called Princess twice and they swear their systems show the correct info. Has anyone else experienced problems and/or mixups with the medallion or the medallion app?

We’re leaving on 10/28. Hopefully we can proceed on the Mexican itinerary but I can think of worse options than going to SF. I do hope the arch makes it through the storm.

Princess is making me crazy. We are on Discovery on 10/28. Airfare was independent with partner’s airline points but we booked a pre-cruise transfer and hotel thru Princess. They’re showing up on the cruise summary but we have no vouchers for the pre-cruise. Partner (who is also the travel agent) just called Princess. She hasn’t booked anything on Princess in more than 20 years. According to Princess the vouchers will show up on the medallion once we set it up (on the ship). Not exactly helpful since, by definition, at pre-cruise we will be nowhere near the ship. So far most things Princess have been way more complicated than on any other cruise. Can anyone provide some help with this?

I remember that commercial from years ago. I think the guy’s still working in baggage handling.

18 days to go and still no medallion delivered. The app shows the order but no delivery. Princess is telling me they ship 2 weeks in advance. Also, can’t find a way to print the kuggage tags. Same story from Princess that I’ll be able to lrint them from Medallion app 2 weeks before the cruise. As someone who prefers ro have everything locked up in advance , this makes me nervous. Is this normal, or Princess’ subrle hint to stat home?

Thanks for your thoughts. You’re right, Shutterbug, if the MDR is habing something spectacular whe we’re scheduled for dinner at Sabatini’s we might want to switch. Especially since it looks like a lot of reservation slots are filled. 5 weeks to go.

We will be on Discovery on 10/28. So far I’ve been unable to find the MDR menus for our cruise. In spiite of the recent changes in dining service I’m hoping they will still be serving food. Does anyone have copies of these menus?
