Do they take layover time in consideration, or do they think a 10 hour layover is appropriate? Is the lowest fare on my preferred airline okay, or do they only approve an airline with a lower fee than the airline you prefer?

I booked an excursion, had to contact Explora to do so because the online booking failed. My OBC was not used AND it was added to the final balance. Not impressed.

My TA sent me an invitation; your TA should be able to secure an invite, or if you are booking directly through Explora, perhaps they will send you an invite. It is a Zoom presentation, the link is not shareable. I hope you are able to find one!

I tried to book an excursion; it was successful until I logged out and back in, when I found no bookings. I emailed Explora, they kindly reserved a spot for us, sent a new reservation document to my TA. The charge for the excursion was added to the final payment due in June. Not to wild about that idea. I also note the descriptions are lacking; I did find out in this process that when you see an excursion listed twice, that means there are two departure times, even though times are not listed on the website.. I inquired about minimum and maximum excursion size and distance of the hikes; response was they would get with the tour providers and let me know. There is a consumer virtual event for Explora Journeys on March 23, Aimee Price, Head of Sales USA West and Canada. I signed up, hoping to learn more. Will post more details of what I have found on the Roll Call page for Reykhavik to NYC.

FYI re accessing on line account--I called Explora directly when I had that problem a few weeks ago. Turned out I had two accounts, probably one I set up and one created when my TA booked the cruise. Explora IT combined the two accounts and I have not had any problems since (fingers crossed this does not jinx it)

I was able to see the excursions on my desktop; some decent info, no prices, and most of them appeared twice. Bongomeme, I am interested in sharing private excursions, in fact, have contacted two tour providers out of Isafjordur. No responses about Akureyri tours and virtually no tour providers found in Greenland (one hiking tour in Nuuk). We are mostly interested in hiking and waterfall/nature type of tours. Seems to be a LOT of helicopter tours..

Is there any problem to go one week early? We are deviating and plan to depart December 28 for a January 4 cruise. Just wondering if the expensive holiday airfares and the week in advance will make Regent react adversely
