  1. Its due to general strikes in France, the port isn't able to open AIUI.
  2. On the msccruises.co.uk site it says: Please note that All-Inclusive Beverage packages for Summer 2023 up to Summer 2024 cruises are detailed here below. To know the details of Beverage packages for Winter 2022/23 cruises, please login your personal area. and then list the new max prices 14euros/16$, so I'm guessing there's some type of changeover period and if its classed as a winter cruise 2022/23 your on the old max price, if its classed as a summer cruise then your on the new. Which date this change will actually occur I am unsure of. And its really bad if your on a cruise where they have increased the individual price of the drinks but your on the old package.
  3. On a seven day sailing its different every night, they then repeat so if your on longer you will get the same shows.
  4. Ah you could be right, never had more than 2 in cabin to test.
  5. The list for the 'free' bottle of spirts/wine/champagne is not the full list of stock available. Its a limited selection. So just because they may stock Aviation Gin, doesn't mean you will get it as the 'free' bottle for YC. Controlling costs I assume. I also like Gin and ask for Tanqueray 10, which they stock but only get Bombay Sapphire as the bottle in the room.
  6. Unfortunately MSC only allow one booking at a time on the app.
  7. You realise with yacht club each guest gets two devices for internet access ? So if there's three of you that's 6 devices you could connect at once.
  8. Does the Meraviglia not have the USB ports in the bottom of these fittings ? The newer Grandiosa and Virtuosa do. I expect Euribia to as well.
  9. You won't be able to book times and dates until on board. You will be able to pre pay for any of the shows that require it, but still not book an actual time/date.
  10. I'm not sure if the price will go up or down but just want to head off the US cruisers who are probably going to tell you to book and then re price if it changes, although common in America, Its not done like that in the UK.
  11. Have you actually booked yet? MSC in Europe operate different to US cruise lines, they tend to board and disembark at every port they visit in the Med. You may find you can book a cruise doing exactly what you want rather than booking Barcelona and then getting off a day early.
  12. Yep in May 22 was upgraded from YIN to YC deluxe balcony upon arrival, was unexpected and not asked for.
  13. Probably best to state which Port so you can get specific advice from people
  14. That is more unclear, its supposed to be Adult only, but have seen plenty of kids in there who were Aurea Guests. Personally I think if they are Aurea guests then you should be allowed in, but others may disagree. Aurea Top 18 Solarium....still adults only? - MSC Cruises - Cruise Critic Community
  15. Yes if the kids are YC guests then they are allowed anywhere in the YC area, there's no adult only areas within YC.
  16. You can do it thru the concierge, although with the fun pass and the bowling, that might involve doing it at the bowling, not sure.
  17. The Flam Railway – World's best train journey! | Norways best Book tickets here, wheelchair tickets available.
  18. Probably better to consider which is easier for you to get to from the US rather than the best one to leave from. Barcelona would be my choice, if your flying in a few days earlier and spend time exploring the city. I would expect direct flights should be available and if not there will be plenty of connecting flights Genoa and Marseille I suspect would be more difficult for direct flights from the USA and less options for connecting flights.
  19. I presume its based on this game: Wavelength - A party game in your pocket
  20. Sorry got year wrong it was 2022, doesn't matter to your query but just want to be correct
  21. MSC dropped the condition on 1st of April 2021 (at least for European cruises) I was on the Grandiosa on the 5th April to 12th of April and no restrictions on getting off in any port.
  22. In YC on Meraviglia, your stateroom is never far away, often easier to go there than public bathroom. Probably deck 14 would be the worse for this as restaurant on deck 18 and topsail bar on deck 16 (there's no deck 17 as that's considered unlucky in italy).
  23. thetrainline.com has an extra service charge that nationalrail.com doesn't, both will sell the same tickets at same prices.
