  1. We are Baja deck mid-ship. Fingers crossed I can brush my teeth not with hot water tonight! Otherwise I'm moving into the spa 🙃 Speaking of mid-ship, this is our 1st time staying in this location, we've always been forward before. Day 6 and I still never know which way to go, lots of user error and wrong turns. One of the bands on board is called Opus and is reggae themed. Very entertaining. Their percussionist, Geffrey, plays solo steel-drum sets occasionally and is fantastic. Currently pool-side jamming out.
  2. One thing I am not a fan of is the names of stateroom occupants are digitally displayed at all times adjacent to the stateroom door. So you know all the names and cabin numbers of everyone if you really wanted to.
  3. Day 6: The app issues worked out Day 3 and no further medallion issues either. Hot tubs finally opened Day 4. I notified our room steward on Day 3 that the air-conditioning was warm and we did not have any cold water in the bathroom, not fixed I used the CrewCall chat app Day 4 to notify them of the same issue, their response was to call concierge. I called concierge the same day and was told by Michael it would be taken care of. Fast forward to morning of Day 6, still warm in the room and no cold water. Concierge doesnt know why it hasnt been fixed. No offer of follow up communication or timeline. My patience is running out.
  4. Day 3: at sea. Things are slowly getting better. Dinner last night was reasonable timing around an hour. Still no waiters taking verbal drink orders, but the app wait time is down to about 20 minutes. Main complaints are: ZERO hot tubs are open and stateroom temperature never gets "cool" and no water under 30C available in the showers.
  5. Arrived at 7pm. We were informed that the app had deleted our reservation. Only 2 people in our party but were willing to share a table so got right in. I have spoken to others on the ship whose meal lasted over 3 hours.
  6. No one queues at the medallion desk, everyone squishes together en masse outside the casino. The queue for the concierge desk snakes thru the entire atrium, disrupting the ambience.
  7. Currently aboard Island Princess. Only blue/white surgical masks available. Two in cabin upon arrival and can order more in stateroom via the tv. They are complimentary.
  8. Yes, i went last evening. They could not help me and said someone from concierge would find me and help fix. Never happened. So i went to concierge this morning and they couldn't help either, i was told again someone would find me later with an answer... Obi-Wan-Kenobi is my only hope...
  9. I also recommend the buffet for your pastry needs. The buffet pastries are larger in size, quantity, and selection. La Patisserie/Good Spirits has a 20+ minute wait due to only 1 bartender working at a time and they fulfill app requests before acknowledging walk-up customers. See attached photo for La Patisserie pastry options.
  10. I'm currently on the Island Princess. The app is absolute rubbish, even the concierge doesnt know how to fix it. It thinks im either off ship or permanently in my stateroom. I cannot get a beverage delivered to my location, i waited 50 minutes this morning only for my order to be cancelled. There arent any waiters walking around taking orders, so i physically go to a bar and wait 20mins for a drink bc only one bartender working at a time and fulfill app requests before walk ups. Dinner reservations were deleted from app and just loads and refreshes. Customer service chat via the app takes 40+ minutes to respond. So far very unimpressed.
  11. Day 2: At sea. So far I am very unimpressed. I'm already on my 3rd medallion, it doesnt recognize where i am. The app thinks im permanently in my stateroom and therefore cannot order cocktails for delivery anywhere else. There are no waiters walking around taking orders and each bar i have visited only has one bartender working. I ordered a baileys and coffee this morning and waited 50 minutes only for it to be cancelled. Dinner in the dining room took over 2 hours last night. Only one of the two pools is open and ZERO hot tubs are open. The ipad/app system is killing customer service, no one knows how to fix it.
