  1. Fortunately, less than 10% of cruisers are chair hogs. Also, less than 10% of posters in these threads defend the behavior. I think I see a connection.
  2. A rising tide lifts all boats (ships in this case).
  3. You could still use the free specialty dining meals without pre-set dining times to work around.
  4. Some people just live in a doom and gloom world. It's more fun over here on the sunny side of the street.🌻
  5. Why do you think they'll wait until 18 months out?
  6. I've got about 3 things to do, but I likely will drop the ball more than once. I would offer to help, but would likely drop the ball on that as well. Carry on.... (you know the song).
  7. As one of these "contemporary cruisers," I find the following to be an oxymoron:
  8. It sounds like you're just describing every cruise with an active CC roll call.
  9. I have had non-refundable OBC carry over on a B2B. YYMV.
  10. How many family members are you inviting? Are they all excited about planning a vacation around your graduation ceremony?
  11. They've had straws on all of my recent NCL cruises. I have no idea what they are made from, as nobody drinks Whiskey or Beer with a straw.
  12. Well, whoever said it was certainly on to something. And, like the other poster, I agree 100%. So, we have a great world leader, a great comedian and a great actor all agreeing on this. Must be valid! I wonder what Groucho's position would be? "My Doctor told me I had to give up wine, women and song." "So, what are you going to do?" "I'm going to find a different doctor."🤣🐀
  13. I believe that was attributed to Winston Churchill.
  14. I can only find this one. Was there another?
  15. Why explain it in a simple manner when you can make it sound more complex?😄
  16. There is a lot of truth in this, and I just can't understand such people.
  17. If you're still confused, it's not because of this thread. At least three different people have given the exact same answer. I doubt we can make it any more clear.
  18. Don't do it brother. 🐀's are not elite. They're just 🐀's.
  19. Do NOT give anybody ideas. I'm quite surprised that the cruise lines haven't started timeshare programs for cruises.
  20. Here we go again.... You buy two CN for $500 ($250 each). They immediately both charge your on-board account $500 and credit it with $250, which by policy goes first to paydown that $500 you just spent. Forget the noise. You spent $250 and will walk off the ship with two, $250 CN certs to apply to a future cruise. Your only mistake will be asking the CN rep how this works. That's where the confusion begins. ETA: before anybody jumps in, yes I realize that you don't walk off the ship with CNs. They are credited to your account in about 24 hours.
