  1. Our Canada/New England cruise on Adventure of the Seas is just a little over two weeks away! I have a couple of questions: 1. We'd like to have the bed in the king-size formation. Is this the default, or do I need to contact someone about it? 2. We have the late traditional dining seating. There are two of us. Will we be automatically assigned to a larger table, or a table for two? Okay, actually one more... 3. Our first Canadian port is Saint John, on day 6. If we fill out all the ArriveCan information before we leave, will that be good enough? I'm confused about the 3 days/72 hour thing I keep hearing about. Thanks!
  2. I'm curious about the bacon listed as an appetizer. Is that actually just a plate with slices of bacon? Also, how is the macaroni and cheese side?
  3. I see the Imperial Lounge on the deck maps in the app (for Adventure of the Seas) but there's no listing for it under Bars and Lounges, so I can't see a menu. Is this venue open to everyone? Is it a typical bar menu, and what entertainment is usually there?
  4. According to the Royal app, Johnny Rockets on my Adventure of the Seas cruise in September is a cover charge of 11.99. Did that go up recently? I thought I remembered seeing $9.99 in the not-so-distant pass. Also, is everything on the menu included? We have the refreshment package so I know we get free shakes.
  5. Can the freestyle machines be used without the special chip/sticker? Do they have cups at the machines for people who don't want to carry the special cups around?
  6. That's good to hear, thank you! We are looking forward to the cruise itself.
  7. Since this is only my second cruise, and my first on Royal Caribbean, I have never had the experience of having a cabin changed. I expected that when I picked the cabin I did, that's where we would be staying. (Otherwise, what would be the point of letting people pick their cabin at all?) I've always heard it recommended that mid-ship and lower decks are better for people prone to motion sickness, so that is why we picked an Ocean View on the second deck. I'm not thrilled about being so close to the elevators, but we'll make the best of it during the cruise. I was not happy that RC could not at least have sent an e-mail to let me know, and just left it for me to find while I was browsing the app. They gave me an explanation when I asked through social media messages, so they could have just as easily warned me about it through e-mail.
  8. They said they could only move me to another Ocean View, and there were no other cabins in that category open. I did receive $100 in OBC, though, so something did come out of it. They also just changed the itinerary for the sailing, to go to Sydney, Nova Scotia, instead of Halifax.
  9. I don't know. We haven't heard from RCI. I noticed the room change when I looked in the app
  10. We booked directly through the Royal Caribbean website
  11. Hi! We are on the Adventure of the Seas September 15th, sailing from Bayonne. We picked oceanview cabin number 2300 when we booked because of its midship location (I'm prone to seasickness). I've just noticed that we have been moved to cabin 3548, and received no e-mail about the change. It's closer to the front of the ship. Is this a good cabin/location (appears to be right next to elevators and the theater)? Do we have any options in asking for another change, or should we wait to see if we get moved again? Thanks for any insights!
