  1. Thank you for your thoughts. I did email Azamara but needless to say no reply. I do hope they are not charging for medical attention and you all get some form of compensation for spoilt holiday.
  2. Thank you for recent responses. I did feel it was a far fetched excuse and wonder why if it has been going on since January the ship has taken more action. Not looking forward to boarding on Saturday
  3. Personally still feel uncomfortable with this. Our TA contacted Azamara on our behalf and was told there had been some cases but have been exaggerated on platforms and most likely caused from eating off ship so advise not do so. There were not enough cases to report to authorities.
  4. Do you advise buying some bottled water in Gran Canaria to take on board? Normally have ice in G&T's etc so thinking not a good idea? Not paranoid but as only on for a week do not want to be poorly. Never had any issues before on any cruise Azamara or others.
  5. Ha Well if cause is over eating and too much Vino have no problem.
  6. Out of interest do you get any compensation if you do fall ill and confined to cabin please. Not ever experienced this situation before (thankfully)

  8. Hello Can anyone advise if Azamara Price Guarantee please. Have just noticed our cruise has been reduced in the current sail and wonder if worth contacting them.

  10. We are supposed to be sailing on Opal for Christmas/New Year 20th December. Amsterdam to Budapest. Would very much like to know what is going on please.

  12. Hi There I originally started this thread as could not find any 'real' passenger reviews anywhere. So big thank you for responses especially Enjoynit for such a fab insight. My other half booked this as a surprise trip for a Birthday treat we sail 10th September. We have just had an Emerald email with Pre Cruise info....basically covering potential problems with Flights ,Lost luggage etc. Not totally inspiring but guess covering the basics. We have found the 'Already booked' account very basic and obviously you cannot book Trips until on board which is fine for us. Really looking forward to our trip
  13. At last a review... Thank you Ann YM What are your overall feelings about your trip on Azurra would you do another? Any comments on the Food, Age groups and general ambience of your trip.
