When I was on seaside the cruise consultant said they're planning a big pricing change on the 28th

If you have room, take one of those wake up lights. Even though I still book inside, I hate waking up in the pitch black as it completely messes with me.

I got a click and collect self test with certificate from randox for £11 and then just did that the day before. They accepted it with no issues as it was a certificate (Seaside from Genoa a couple weeks ago).

Just seen that the UK gov has announced this evening that from 4am on the 7th, you'll need to have completed a negative pre-departure test. 

I'm due on the Magnifica on the 7th, hopefully they'll accept the NHS LFT as I don't fancy paying a fortune to get one done on board! 

When you arrive back into southampton, what gets checked? Do you go through passport control etc?

I definitely wouldn't hold it against msc and i'm expecting at least one missed port!

I haven't bought a drinks package as it was £196, do you know how much it is on board? I'm not a huge drinker so might just buy a few drinks on the first night

I'm on next tuesday's sailing, very excited! 

For the cancelled port stop, did they give you a letter? My travel insurance pays £100 per missed port

The crew are so friendly, it’s so nice to chat to them and have a laugh. They really appreciate it as well 😊

Well as an update I did in fact end up getting the premium package included 😂 I’ve been taking advantage every day so far 

Can’t believe I only paid £259 for 7 nights inside cabin, with no single supplement and ended up with all this!

I also managed to get a status match with Accor gold so I now have a nice new gold cruise card ☺️

I’m at Marseille cruise port, just waiting for my test results. They never even asked to see the results of a lateral flow or PCR test, only had to show cruise docs and NHS vaccination proof!

Yeah probably what's happened is the system has seen the fantastica cabin allocation and got confused as the fantastica comes with the premium drinks.

I'm not expecting it to be applied, though it would be nice haha

So I only booked a bella inside guaranteed cabin, my cabin has been allocated and it now shows the premium drinks package and fantastica included - is this just a glitch or do they sometimes give this as an upgrade? My ticket doesn't show it being included as I didn't pay for it

What was the whole embarkation process like? i'm on it tomorrow from marseille, but they've changed the requirements and now need a PCR

I'm due to embark on the seaside tomorrow (19th) from Marseille and my travel agent has said that as it's so close to departure, MSC have said they'll accept a rapid test. Has anyone else been told this?
