Thanks for the feedback. I only checked because I was told that Celebrity had a "new policy". I thought better but wanted to play it safe.

I frequently sail on Princess. I only registered as a veteran once and have had "Military OBC" applied several times.
I understand that Celebrity may offer "Military fares" on select cruises, however, no broad "Military OBC"?
What's the latest policy?
Thanks

What the recommended way for US citizens to obtain visas for Myanmar?

Recommendations for VISAs for entry into Myanmar. Before hand or allow ship to process?

The self service Washers/Dryers are a nice option for those that prefer to do their own laundry and not subject clothes to potentially very harsh commerical
laundry facilities. Were always very clean, comfortable room temps and machines in good working order on the Diamond Princess in June.
Token machines which used cruise card always worked.

We just spent 28 days (June 2016) on the Diamond Princess. Many of the English speaking passengers frequently said this is not their Princess from earlier cruises but a modified Japanese version. Hope this provides help to those that are already booked or considering booking.

I understand that there may be a new cruise terminal in Istanbul. Websites give conflicting info. Anyone with recent first hand experience? Thanks-

For those you that have sailed the "Spice Route" and other cruises that stop in India what was the procedure for Visas in India. Individually handled prior to booking or taken care of by the ship? Please reply if you have recent personal experience. Thank You.

Double checking VISA requirements for US passport holders. We are on the Constellation in November from Istanbul to UAE. Stops in Aquaba, Jordan & Muscat, Oman.
Since I am arriving to Istanbul by air, I understand a visa is required (e-visa), not clear concerning exact requirments for Aquaba & Muscat. Many times visas on not required when entering by ship ( Turkey for example). No visa for UAE.
Please reply only if you have personal recent knowledge.
Thank you and safe travels.

Food is better on Oceania. Specialty restaurants are FREE. Azamara allows you the RCCL stockholder credit. Always pick the itinerary which you prefer!
All that being said-if I only to pick one cruise it would be on Oceania.

Great info from everyone speaking from personal experience. I hate the posts on CC that say "although I have never been there-I read".

I understand that's it is $2.00 a load. Quarters? Available at guest relations?

Completed wonderful 14 day Baltic Cruise out of Dover just one week ago. The ship as my old Army Drill Sergeant used to say "Is standing tall and looking good". Constant maintenance ongoing. Very motivated crew. Excellent food. Caution here as Executive Chef was changing. NO problems with plumping as I have seen on other "older" ships. Very sorry that Princess has sold.

I can't remember if washer/dryer take tokens or US quarters? If quarters were they readily available from guest relations?

Thanks to those that have responded. I will FAX this time.
Just to clarify for everyone ,the very first time I submitted it was outside the 90 day window and it was returned.

Princess is very good with veterans and as a part of Carnival stock holder credit. In fact you only have to submit once and it appears on all later cruises.
My veterans credit is indicated clearly as military/veterans on the payments/credit section in cruise personalizer.
Of course stock holder credit you have to submit 90 days in advance for each cruise. I understand the rationale. How does stock holder credit appear? I have a correct dollar amount listed as "goodwill". Is this the stock holder credit?
Thanks

Anyone have recent experience with hotels near the "newer" Marina Bay cruise terminal in Singapore?

I am guessing that the washers and dryers use quarters or tokens similar to a laundromat?

Since we are a little more than a year away from the first of two (or more) Edge Class ships do we have any confirmed details as to part of the world targeted for itineraries? Size wise they are between Milennium Class and Solstice Class.
