I wore a aqua satin cami with it for a pop of color. Since black is a neutral, any color will look great with it. I am so glad it arrived and you like it! Have an awesome cruise!

I did an oceanview facing off the bow on HAL's Zuiderdam. The seas were rough one night and our cabin was going up and down. It was fun stumbling across the cabin in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Other than that one night, I did not notice much difference in movement compared to my parent's cabin mid-ship.

The view is amazing when you are sailing into port. I took some great pictures of Tortola from our window.

LOL. business hardly... But hey always thinking like the CPA I am maybe I can take a charitable deduction on all my gowns I donated (kidding).

 

What I like about this sticky is that the baton gets pasts from one gal to the next... Someone donates what they have, when there is none left another gal comes along with pictures and donates...It is quite inspirational. I am so glad to see that starlake has come along when I cant at this time continue with weekly shipments.

What size is the dress? I love it and wear an 8 or 10 and yes, I"m tall!

I have a beautiful red full length formal that I bought at Tall Etc. in Dallas about 5 years ago in a size 18. I have never worn the dress because I had gained weight before the dinner I had planned to wear it to. I have since lost weight, but I am now a size 12 so the dress up for grabs. The dress is super long. I am 5'11" and was planning to wear the dress with 3" heels. It would probably work for any woman up to about 6'2' or 6'3".

This is my all time favorite speedo picture. I like to refer to it as Captain Morgan meets Speedo Man. :D

Since I am a scuba diver and cruise specifically to go diving in numerous ports on a 7 day cruise, I do have an issue with the policy. My scuba gear alone will take up one suitcase and is usually over 50 pounds. So now my DH and I are limited to one suitcase each for our clothes. Renting our gear is not an option since I don't trust the dive operators to have gear that is as well taken care of as mine. On the plus side, at least formal night is optional and I can always leave that stuff at home.

On my 7 day HAL cruise to the Caribbean I wore cocktail dresses for both formal nights. About 1/2 the women wore cocktail dresses.
