Questions on Business Class Air fare consolidators. I have used HAL's Flight Ease many times, and received reliable flights at good prices. Never a problem with cancellations. But now, even Flight Ease prices are crazy high, $6000 per person round trip US East coast to Venice. I have seen many ads for companies that offer Business Class airfares and amazing discount prices, by consolidating. They ask for your trip dates and they will call or e-mail a price back a few days later. Are they reliable ? Do they cancel and just give you part of your money back ? If it was a land vacation, a few days delay would be a pain, but it could be handled. For a cruise, missing the ship would be a disaster, missing the initial days at sea and possibly the first port. Has anyone had experiences, good or bad, with the many fare consolidators ? Or is the old saying accurate, "If it's too good to be true, then it probably is".

The problem with some CPAP machines is the heating element used to aerosolize the distilled water. Just the air pump doesn't use too much power. But when the heating strip is on, it increases the wattage used by the unit to a level that may exceed the available power in an airline seat. Those 120 volt outlets are only designed to keep your laptop running on a long flight, not a medical device with a heating element.

We have 8099 booked on the Oosterdam in June 2023, Greece & Holy Land. I have read on this board that deck 8 Signature Suites are less expensive than the ones on deck 6 because of the concern for noise. Of course it all depends on your sleep schedule. The Lido Market is pretty much closed after 10:00 pm. But there may be noise in the early morning getting it ready for breakfast. Anybody else have experience with noise in SY cabins on deck 8 in Vista Class HAL ships ? Your cabin 8090 and my cabin 8099 are both directly under the seating area of the Lido Market, not the area where the service carts roll, so we may be OK. deck 8 vs deck 9 for noise.pdf

We will be in a hotel in Venice a short distance from St. Mark's. We will be taking a water taxi from Marco Polo airport to the hotel. But after our 3 day stay, how do we get from our hotel to the entry point of the People Mover, with 3 large pieces of luggage, plus small carry-ons ? If there's a great distance to walk, it will be impossible for 2 seniors to roll 3 pieces of luggage plus other small items through the walkways of Venice to reach the People Mover. And is the People Mover large enough to accommodate large luggage along with people ? I've been to Venice before, but never seen the People Mover, I'm envisioning a moving walkway similar to the same in airports. Can we take another water taxi from our hotel to the exit point of the People Mover and meet up with the HAL bus there ?
