Booked this cruise yesterday, 3/27/24, for the 3/6/26 sailing. We've not been to any African ports yet, so hope these three happen. Any thoughts from previous cruisers are appreciated. Our next Viking cruise is our 1st. river cruise, Paris to Zurich, beginning 4/16/24.

Gee, thanks! I think we are more likely to step in a "dig" hole. Lerwick looks like a lovely, rambling type city.

With regard to Shetland TV series, we were able to borrow them from our local library. Very much looking forward to visiting the archeological sites both on Shetland and Orkney. We'll be on Viking Mars on the July 18 cruise from Bergen.
