  1. We were on Breeze to FP for 11 days and found the food to be very good overall.  Breakfast is uninspired, but there really isn't much you can do with breakfast foods.  I will say the ordered pancakes were terrible and I would never order again, but the omelettes were outstanding.  Lunch could range from average to very good and using the menu to order a hamburger or chicken breast sandwich was a real surprise as everything was fresh.  Dinner overall was a 9 out of 10 and no major complaints.

Biggest disappointment was the BBQ on the beach where food was average at best, burgers, hotdogs and nothing really special.  But having potato salad and other mayo salads in that heat was beyond crazy.

The dinner show on the Motu was definitely better, but they were giving people 6 to 8 lobster tails at a time and ran out before about 255 of the people didn't get any!!!  People were NOT happy.

  2. As far as the "CUSTOM FIT" goes, it is not as described.  They just give you a mask and have you try on fins to see which you can get you foot into.  There is no instructon on how to use or any real "fitting", just "here you go" after you find the right fin.  All worked fine for us, but don't expect any fitting or information

  3. Embarkation was the easiest ever !  Really dont need much, but having the email as back up if you wish just in case.  Answered a few questions on a paper, had picture taken and CC run for account.  Easy Breezy.

Not likely at this point, with cruise bookings recovering to record levels.  But since Star Legend had to be repositioned from the mid-east with many itineraries cancelled, they may have decided to hold off on announcing its future itineraries until the world situation stabilizes.

Agree.  We were booked for a trip with the Mid East included and Windstar cancelled due to issues in the area.  Found another sailing in April of 2025 instead doing the Canary Islands, Portugal, Morocco, and Spain!!  Amazing itinerary.

Check your emails. They send it straight to you, not your TA, although maybe they get a copy too. There are multiple answers here on this thread and others, including one already linked here which is on this page. I will link it again. There is also a search function you can use.

It was a direct email to us from Windstar.  Just different than the larger cruise lines, but all good for us!

We board the Breeze next week but have been unable to find any cruise docs! Does Windstar not give any nor give luggage tags🤷‍♂️

Just did a search in my emails for Windstar Cruises and found the Bon Voyage email.  Had already printed, bt just a lot different than the major cruise lines.

We are also on Breeze next week and I was informed that Luggage Tags are issued at check in at the port.  As far as any other cruise docs I am gonna cal my TA now.  See you on board!

So looking forward to this cruise!! I've heard there is no WiFi.

Just spoke to Windstar and was told that it works very well, with just a few areas that are spotty.  Consultant says she sells mostly Tahiti and for the most part has said her customers have had no real issues.  Fingers crossed

    • Thanks 1
  9. Getting ready for our first Windstar sailing on Breeze for 11 days in Tahiti. Does anyone have experience or know if the WiFi works on board in Tahiti and the islands there??  From what I have read, there is no Starlink satellite in French Polynesia.

I have some more menus to upload.  I think we might have missed one night.  I will be posting what we have.  We still need to add reviews, and other meal pictures.  We'll keep uploading the site.

WOW!!!  That was fast!  Thanks again

  11. Really enjoyed your trip and following along.  I noticed that there were some MDR menus not shown, was that because you had done the "casual dinning"?  If you have pics of them and add them to your website it would be great!!  Thank you again for all your time

I contacted my brokerage and asked for a letter stating that I own 100 shares of CCL. It was emailed to me in less than 24 hours (at no cost). I forwarded the email to hello@stockperks.com along with my cruise info. At first they balked, but eventually agreed to process it.

It was accepted, and I received my $250 in OBC in about a week.

A web version is in the works.

Im gonna try this too.  I don't like the fact that I have to give them my brokerage info to verify my ownership through an App

You do not have to give them access.  You can just submit a copy of the applicable page of your statement with account information blacked out. Similar to the proof provided in the past.

I tried this and it was rejected by Princess.  I emailed them and they informed me that this is the only way to get the share holder obc benefit.  They are NO LONGER taking a redacted copy of your brokerage statement

I’m on the Discovery on Saturday morning. I will take a page out of @Thrak’s book and go into it expecting a great vacation on one of Princess’ finest ships. I will have a LIVE and you are welcome to follow along. I enjoyed this Live very much and I appreciate the good and the surprising being shared here. I think sailings can vary tremendously depending on the staff. Even if it’s the same staff as the previous sailing, a healthy learning curve or fatigue can swing customer service to either end of the spectrum.

Will be following along.  If you could post MDR menus it would be great

Just home from the Breeze last week.  The dinner on the Motu in Bora Bora is a wonderful event.  For us it was on the first night.  They had the Motu to use as a beach day from 10-4 on the second day (marine platform was closed that day).

We are doing the 11 day sailing.  Which sailing did you do?  Also did you do any of the ships shore excursions, or private ones??
