@Asawi @cruiseny4life Thanks for the firsthand reassurance. I typically don’t do the upgrade bid…but I really wanted the side table on both side of the bed. And, our new room location will give us easy access to The Great Outdoors for viewing.

So…it happened. Our minimum upgrade bid on the Jewel from Balcony to Club Balcony was accepted. BUT…it is a connected cabin. How’s the noise level between cabins?

Now this qualifies as a “rant”.

Hi Yvonne, we hope to visit Granville Market the day before our cruise. We had not planned on getting any CDN currency. Do most shops/vendors in the market take USD or credit cards? Apple Pay? We did FWD-facing CBS on the Prima. NYC to Bermuda. We were very disappointed in our cabin choice. The balcony is way too windy, and the bottom is metal so in order to see anything you need to stand up. We will likely never do a FWD facing again on any ship…just don’t want to take a chance.

This is not a challenge to what you’ve said. Do you know for certain that they really buffet leftovers? also, you can have the strawberries…I’ll take the wine!

This was similar to our tendering experience. In fairness to NCL it was the beginning of a new season and local authorities were running contracted tenders. But it did cause s lot of frustration amongst Lat members and crew.

You’re helping me get even more excited about our cruise next month. We typically don’t do FAS+ but with doing an excursion in every port we decided to spend the extra this trip. So…Starbucks and Baileys will make this AK cruise even better. thanks @kaboozlefor posting.

We used this service on the Bliss recently. They had all Latitudes with this benefit meet in one of the MDRs and they facilitated priority tender from there (although on our sailing this was total cluster.). Also,,stop by Cruise Next desk when you board and ask them the procedure.

How wonderful the Bliss is able to make the turn into Endicott Arm. In mid-May 2022 she had to stop at the mouth due to too much ice. Here is a picture…you can see the ice is right up to the mouth.
