  1. I know that Celebrity and ABT entered a partnership before COVID, but have they started doing cruises again? We are booked on the Silhouette to Bermuda next year and would love to see the ballet during our cruise, as our daughter is a dancer with a local company, and she would love to do classes with the ABT dancers.
  2. We are currently booked on the June 15th cruise, and our children will be 11 and 7. We just returned from a 12-day Princess cruise, and we had 7 kids traveling with us. They were entertained, and never went to the kids' clubs, though many we heard from really enjoyed their time there. I would assume Celebrity will be the same. Our kids like to relax and swim, so I assume most of our time on the sea days will be at the pool, watching movies, eating ice cream, and checking out the other activities that will be on board. We are really looking forward to this cruise, this will be our 3rd time to Bermuda.
  3. My last cruise on Celebrity was 20 years ago, so never been on a Solstice Class ship. Are the interiors as dark as they look in pictures? Mainly the atrium area, which looks very dark, but most pictures could be in the evening vs. during the day. Just worried about the feel of the ship compared to other lines where they are more bright and airy.
  4. Yes. It is to be a 2 week dry dock. Hopefully all goes well and your cruise leaves as scheduled.
  5. Silhouette is due into dry dock just before the transatlantic from Barcelona in November. I would think this dry dock will also change out carpets and other minor updates to interior spaces.
  6. I would like to have Laura address the excessive extra pay for everything, including the drink package especially when their competitor, Princess, can provide a package for $60 pp/pd that includes all drinks up to $15, gratuities, wifi, desserts, casual meals, room service, etc. And when I get a "flash sale" on the drinks package, its still $65 pp/pd and only includes drinks to $10. Is it that Celebrity provides a much superior product to Princess so the cost associated is warranted to provide that elevated product? I don't think so. My next Celebrity cruise I will pay per item for drinks and dining (since I have 2 kids which would actually be required to also purchase the AI package too).
  7. The email confirmation from ordering the medallions states that the taxes and fees are estimates and will be finalized at time of shipment. Time will tell if I'm charged, if so, GS it is.
  8. We booked a private transfer from LHR to Southampton with a stop over at Stonehenge for only $66/person. Check out Eddie Manning for transfers, we used him before, and were very impressed and had no issues.
  9. You missed the "Le" portion in Le Havre. I think this is the train from Havre, Belgium to Rouen, France. If you search for Le Havre to Rouen the fastest train is 43 minutes, but most are around 1 hour.
  10. Has anyone gone to Rouen from Le Havre on the train? Looking at this option as it seems we would have more time explore and enjoy our time in France instead of a long bus ride into Paris.
  11. Sadly, our June 8th cruise next year is dropping Belfast. But honestly, if it doesn't rain or at least foggy in some of the ports I will be disappointed, especially in Scotland, it just seems like it could set such an awesome mood.
