We are probably going to stay in the Orlando area a couple of nights before our cruise. I assume the best way for Uber/Lyft to take us to the port is to schedule it a few days early to take us to make sure we get a ride. Our cruise is over a year out so we are just in the early planning stages. I assume there is a shuttle we can rent to get us from port to MCO following the cruise?

Having spent time in medical on the Jewel a couple of weeks ago, I can tell you testing or not, COVID is prevalent on the ships. Several crew members had it. If you were lucky enough not to get omicron this year and cruise or go through a few airports this summer, you are probably at a pretty high risk of getting COVID. My brother and his wife fell into that category on our cruise. My wife and I had omicron this year, so we were not too worried about it. Fortunately, with the vaccines and current treatments, it isn’t the same health risk it was 2 years ago.

It’s either a closet or a crew door. I just got off the Jewel and stayed in 9028.

Matter of fact American Airlines Admiral Club uses these as well.

They need to fix that in the app or online process. It is annoying. However, last week despite what the app or website said there was nonissue getting reservations anywhere.

I’m not sure about itineraries , but having just done it, I would skip Vancouver all things being equal.

We booked the train ride from Seward to Anchorage. It looks like there will be a tag specifically for that?

After waiting an 1 hour and 3 minutes only to be cutoff, this is probably something they let you do online or in the app. 🙂.

I don’t like our flights for our upcoming cruise, but you take the deal you get what you get. This will be my first cruise and I was not very familiar with the disembarking process and how long it would take to get to Anchorage from Seward. So I let them book it and our hotel the night before. If it had been Miami or Orlando for instance I would have booked my own flights.

We made dinner reservations and someone else in our party wants to join us now for our upcoming trip on the Jewel. Is there anyway to modify that in the app or on the website? I’m not seeing it if there is.

We’re on the Jewel the 13th as well. Waited 2 years for this trip.

We did ours at booking. We also added a hotel and and ground transport from Airport to hotel and hotel to terminal. I’m sure we paid more than we would have had we booked all those separately, but it was sure nice getting it all done with one phone call.

The major US airlines are asking the White House to discontinue it. Their argument is it not the risk it was and is an outdated requirement.

I upgraded on both Delta going and American coming back. Now one leg is on WestJet, and they allowed me to select my seats, but I could not upgrade.
