I am new to cruising (and Celebrity) and understand that they have cruise specials once onboard. Does anyone know if it is more economical to book on the ship versus pre-cruise? Any examples of sale prices/promotions once on the ship? Thanks!

I bid on three cabins. Two showed expired, one showed pending for a week or so. I wanted to raise the bid but couldn't. Then I was notified I won the move up bid on the pending one. Of course I immediately thought I bid too much LOL...
