Butler, concierge, "exclusive" dining area for breakfast and lunch, priority boarding and priority escorts off the ship in ports and debarkation. Afternoon snacks and other goodies delivered to the room.

The ship I'm currently on has small cartons of whole milk, skim milk and chocolate milk on the buffet next to the boxes of cold cereal.

It's an aft penthouse suite. #9076. The balcony is amazing!

Conditions are horrible!

We're at about 1/3 capacity this sailing (9/29). It's very weird! The staff are almost over-attentive because there are so few passengers. Don't turn your back on your plate at a table, it'll be whisked away. I know, sounds impossible, but its true. No elevator waiting, never see anybody in the hallways. The Effy, Cruise Next and Spa folks are like vultures, LOL. Had dessert for lunch.

Looking forward to a relaxing cruise. The aroma of the ship is... interesting. Like sewage. Hoping it won't smell like that once we are moving?

We depart tomorrow and I've now received four emails with a link asking me to "re-watch" the safety video to guarantee my good time on the cruise. My check-in status remains at 100% so it's not part of that process. Never had this in past sailings.

A friend of mine was telling me today that she's got a cruise booked in an aft penthouse and she's seeing that "select cabins" in her category have butler/concierge service (I think on the Jewel.). She hasn't been getting any response back from NCL to find out if her cabin is one of the select or not. I know this is a recent change for NCL. Does anybody know why they would have a category of cabins with such significant differences? And how do you make sure you pick the one that has the butler/concierge?
