We did a Dominican Daze cruise in July of this year and the ship was about 1200 out of 2700 for the voyage so there was so much room, so few lines, etc. We are booked for Dec 23 on the Valiant and I suspect that occupancy is going to be quite high based upon the challenges with reserving dining times. What are the occupancy rates now? If you cruised in the last month, how crowded was the ship? if it was 75+% what was your overall experience? Were there lines? Challenges finding spots in the various ares of the ship? Bimini beach club packed? Thanks

We shared a taxi with another couple and had a great four hour tour of the highlights for $25 each! This was on the July 22nd DD sailing.

Why? What have people who have chosen to express themselves thru tatoos done to you in the past that they have earned your displeasure? What about people with piercings? What about people with dyed hair? Is this a ‘they are different than me, so I don’t like them thing?’ We are all one race, human, so in the words of Walt Whitman: “be curious, not judgemental”. I, a 56 year old male, LOVED the diversity that VV brings, be yourself and let others be themselves, if this isn’t something you can handle, then perhaps VV isn’t for you?

Not sure which school of business you are referring to but ‘maximizing profits’ is a short term gain, long term loss proposition. Being profitable should be a goal but not THE goal, but at the heart of it, it’s a product based business and if you don’t like the product, don’t consume it. And your reference to Richard Branson is unflattering at best and a borderline insult.

If you can, fly out of FLL (Ft Lauderdale) it’s about 20min longer to get to but a much better airport.

I found that chatting with the crew was one of the better parts of ordering and I would not like to impersonalize it. my wife is from Hungary and our server the first time was from Hungary and they hit it off! Taking that out of the equation with technology would really hurt the experience, at least for us.

We ate at The Wake during departure on Dominican Daze July 22nd. Really enjoyed the views.
