  1. This, definitely resonates with me. We were on Queen Anne last week (had a fantastic time btw) but there was a certain demographic who happily coughed and spluttered away without any regard for anybody around them. We were sat in the Chart Room one afternoon and the chap next to us started coughing away and asked his wife for the lozenges...we swiftly left. We did start seeing masks cropping up around the ship towards the end of the trip and wondered if these were Covid cases who'd been asked to wear masks while out and about rather than people being cautious. Anyway, been home three days and DH tested positive for Covid this morning 😔 However, as I said to him this morning, we both wfh and don't come into contact with people as much as we used to so don't get the chance to build up any immunity to any bugs going around (I came home from a trip on QV last year with a nasty non Covid lurgy) and you couldn't say that if we went to a land based hotel holiday that it would be any different. So I don't think it'll put us off cruising, although I do wish that people would be more considerate on board (and I do wish I'd booked that next cruise before he tested positive and the grump set in 😂)
  2. Just disembarked Queen Anne this morning... the buffet is almost all served to you, just the cold cuts of meat are self serve. We ate in the buffet more than any where else and the food was always hot and really good quality.
  3. Following this with interest as Cupla Fir were on our Queen Victoria Cruise last July, they were brilliant! I think we saw them 3 or 4 times. We're on QM2 next month, I hope they're still on there then.
  4. I think that's the second increase in quite a short space of time. We were on Queen Victoria in October and the Premium Soft Drinks was $30 then. Even at that price we had debated whether we got our moneys worth out of it, although I like the peace of mind of having it. We're on QM2 next month and as it had increased to $36 we had decided against it, we're just going to pay as we go. With this new increase I'm really not sure the package is worth it, although... We don't drink a lot of alcoholic drinks and one of the things from the menu we do enjoy are the non alcoholic cocktails. I spied a Queen Anne drinks menu in somebody's YouTube video and the price for these is now $11.50 when they had previously been $8! That's a huge increase bringing them in line with some of the alcoholic drinks and I can't see anything else in the drinks menu that's gone up by such a percentage. So, if you think your drinks choices may include these then the drinks package may become more attractive again.
