  1. Are the prices discounted when purchasing pre-boarding or the same?
  2. I was thinking that women could keep it in their bra, but that might make scanning it interesting.
  3. We purchased these but have not used them yet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KO2TAJK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. They are two separate things. MedallionNet connects to satellites so you can have WiFI at sea. You pay for it, log in from your phone, computer or some other wifi devise and use the internet, facebook. emails....
  5. Maybe they don't tell you in advance so people will book the specialty restaurants ahead of time. Otherwise the ship might not get the specialty restaurants reservations they need to fill them and then the buffet would be packed.
  6. Where do you get the 190-200 degree water from on the ship? I have done this at home and yes it makes great coffee but too much hassle on a ship. Do you bring a water boiler on ship? I don't think they are allowed. I've come to the conclusion (for now! LOL) that we will try the free stuff and can always buy the package on board.
  7. I would assume we can purchase a coffee package on the ship if we decide we need one?
  8. Do you drink it black or with cream and sugar. Since we switch from cream and sugar to black we prefer different coffee.
  9. We love our good coffee, we grind our fresh roasted beans at home. Maybe I'll get the coffee card and share with my wife. Issue is we now have learned to drink it black after many years of cream and sugar, I'm gonna miss my good coffee. We can get $36.58 per person (15 beverages shareable) and of coarse the unlimited fresh brew (non-shared) I'm thinking if I alone drink 2 cups a day @$2 each then I will about break even. 15 day cruise. One of us will probably have a specialty coffee now and then. I assume they don't give free refills on the $2 coffee? Am I missing something?
  10. What type of coffee is served in the dinning rooms of the Caribbean Princess specifically. Syrup or brewed? Is it any good. Without the coffee card where can I get good coffee for free? I drink more than one cup in the morning.
  11. A "roll call" is a forum page just for your cruise. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/63-princess-roll-calls/
  12. So if I purchase the "up to four devices" for the extra $70 on our 14 day cruise as me, will I be able to connect my phone and my wife's phone at the same time? If I add her and me then the price doubles. One would assume we both would be able to login and use it at the same time? I'm asking because on SiriusXM home streaming I can only use it on one device at a time.
  13. Thanks, I hope it works and I have two USB battery packs that I can use to power it. We'll put in a purse or bag and take it with us on the ship. That way we can sit anywhere on ship. I will hide the network name so everyone is not trying to hook into it!
  14. On Caribbean Princess I assume that is referred to CB?
  15. If we purchase the "1 device connection" can I connect my travel router to it then connect multiple devices to it? Chrome book and two Iphones? The travel router is designed so you can do this in hotels that only allow one device.
