  1. If you guys are wine/soda drinkers, be sure to take advantage of the BYOB (1 bottle of wine + 12 pack of cans). Was able to save a lot of money on my latest short cruise. Also, tell them to wander and explore the ship at their own leisure the first day. It'll be good to find the little areas that you'll want to hang out in and get a chance to at least see all of the ship and what it has to offer.
  2. Thank you so much! We stopped briefly to see the San Sebastian fort last time. It will be very fun to check out one of the others!
  3. We’re sailing Carnival so I think we’re docking at Havensight. Walking distance is probably like a mile or two one way, we’re all pretty active people.
  4. Anybody have insight on some cool things that are within walking distance of the port? Parents visited a couple decades ago, and then we recently went back but couldn't do too much as my mom hurt her foot the day prior. Looking for something chill, maybe a place to eat or stop and view.
  5. Family has decided to not do an excursion in San Juan on our upcoming cruise. Been there once before and loved the feel of the island; saw one of the churches and ate some good food. Just wondering what people recommend seeing/going to that's more laid back and will give us a feel for the city.
  6. Doing a cruise on the Mardi Gras that's going to San Juan, anyone have recommendations for places to eat/see that aren't tied to excursions? Would love to just get a feel for the island. Also wondering if there's anything in St. Thomas that will also be along these lines as well.
  7. First Post Here, Booked a cruise for May 2023, just me and my parents. Things have happened and one other person would like to join us. We are booked in a 3-person cove balcony cabin. How difficult would it be to either add one person to the room or be able to change it so we are split into two rooms of 2?
