  1. I booked our recent cruise last minute and all of the reservations on line were booked.. I was kind of disappointed because I love the specialty resturants.. So we got on the ship around 12:30 and went to the line to see if we could get a reservation... No problem, I was able to get reservations and the line was not very long. Same with the reservations for entertainment that required reservations, we were able to book just about anyday.. However the next day we stopped by again because we were uncertain what time we booked and wanted to confirm. A fellow was trying to book a reservation and they were all gone.... And Geez he gave the girl such a hard time and was quite rude to her...Moral of story, you can get a reservation once on board but dont wait a day to do it!!
  2. yes, the bathroom set up is weird on the Epic, but we got use to it... Just dont flush the toliet if you get up in the middle of the night, will wake your partner up!! Aside from that it is not a deal breaker.
  3. We were on the 2/26 sailing. I dreaded getting to the port yet it was very easy. We took a taxi around noon from our hotel to the port... There were no issues getting to the port. It took about 10 minutes to drop off our luggage. Once inside there were literally no lines to check in. In total I would say in 30 minutes from start to finish we were on the ship, and our cabin was ready about 2:30. This was probably the easiest process out of the 10 or so cruises that we have taken.
  4. Great news, thanks for the information... We are on the Epic and arriving a few days before our cruise so I will try to get early check-in. Help is much appreciated!
  5. I just booked my cruise, with just 21 days in advance and there are no open reservations left for just 2 in specialty dining. Am I out of luck? Would I have any luck once on the ship? I really like the specialy dining, and am disappointed, but not surprised.
