General Comments: We booked Infinite Veranda over the phone with Celebrity in February (2023) for a cruise the next month (March 17, 2023). Did not receive an upgrade email. Located option online myself. We were assigned cabin 6123 and discovered that it has partially obstructed view and the theater is directly below. Decided to try to upgrade mainly for better cabin location. Initially bid on AquaClass (minimum bid) and Concierge Class ($145) on 3/7 in the evening. Decided to bump bids up just slightly on 3/8 afternoon. Bid AquaClass ($205 - bid range $200-?) and Concierge ($155 - bid range $100-500). Both were “weak” bids. That night, we decided to increase bid again, but when I went to do it, it listed our AquaClass bid as “expired” and our Concierge bid as “pending” with no option to make changes or cancel. When I searched for upgrade options, it stated “not eligible for upgrade”. This morning (3/9) at about 10:45am, my credit card was charged and we almost simultaneously received an email that our Concierge bid was accepted. We were assigned cabin 11116.
