Yeah, actually, I remember that from other Carnival cruises (other ships). Lukewarm, at best... hopefully better this time. I seem to recall the aft tubs were warmer. None *hot*.
Surely this is somewhere in forums, but can't seem to find it by key words... 😕 On Freedom, I see Serenity area forward decks 12 & 14 - am I correct there are hot tubs on 14? And is the aft pool Lido deck 9 for adults only, or open to all? Planning how best to avoid kids... Any tips welcome! 😄
Planning on taking bus #10 to Saunders Beach on my own. Is this okay to do solo, and any thoughts in general on that plan? Dislike crowds, don't care about drinking, and I can handle sitting 'on' the beach for a while. Just want to sit by the water, maybe bob around in it a bit. 1-2 hours is my max. 🙂
Traveling solo with only a daypack for a 4-night sailing on Freedom. In the past, carried on a 12-pack of Diet Coke, but don't need that much for such a short trip. Carnival guidelines say soda now must be "in a carry-on" - can I carry-on 6 sodas in my roll-up pool/beach bag (separate from the daypack)? Thanks.
What is 'chair & umbrella' for a decent price? I'll be solo as well, so not inclined to pay for two of anything... which you may or may not be able to lend insight on. 🙂
Looking at hotels near MCO, prefer one with a shuttle to/from airport so I can get transfer next day to Canaveral. I'm reading the small print, and on at least a couple websites, these 'airport area' hotels *still* say 'shuttles stopped due to Covid'... Is this true, or are they again shuttling MCO-hotel-MCO, and the info is just out of date? Thanks.
