Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thanks we saw them in port and also at the beautiful viewpoint where the Atlantic Ocean meets the pacific and again at Carambola. My daughter was thrilled!
  2. Hi does anyone know if the NCL kids club is running on transatlantic or other longer cruises? Currently their website just says hours are posted on the ship and I know some other lines don't have kids clubs on transatlantic so I was hoping to confirm prior to booking.
  3. The NCL website currently states that the kids club hours are listed on the ship. I know on other cruise lines there isn't a kids club on a transatlantic. Can anyone confirm if it was running last fall on the NCL transatlantic?
  4. Thanks - if it is cancelled do they spend time at a different port in Iceland or is it an extra sea day?
  5. Hi I was reading that all of the Prima's stops in Isafjordur had to be cancelled last year. Does anyone know if the construction has been finished this year and the ship can reach this port now?
  6. Hi I know the baby monkeys aren't a good thing to visit, but my daughter is obsessed with monkeys and on our last cruise the stop to the DR was caught up in the NCL mess of not being able to dock large ships there, so we let her see the baby monkeys in Romney manor. We are going back to St. Kitts and she's really going to want to see the baby monkeys again. Will they be at the Fort? or is there somewhere we can look for them in the port?
  7. Recommendations for a 6 year old in St. Kitts? She likes animals. We've been to parrottville.
  8. We are sailing on a cruise in which there is a pullman bed from the ceiling. Does anyone know if it is safe for a 13 year old to sleep in one? How high up is it? Are there usually any railings or can anyone suggest if there are any products that we could easily transport to make a railing?
  9. Hi does anyone know if the pullman beds from the ceiling have railings? Or how high they are? We are trying to figure out if a 13 year old can safely sleep in one.
  10. Hi, It looks like on NCL it is a difficult 90 minute tender process to Venice. Is this the same for all cruise lines? I know the government has new regulations but was wondering if any other cruise lines have found any alternatives such as docking in nearby ports and running shuttles.
  11. My son gets carsick so I'm wondering if this excursion will work for him. how long is the drive from the cruise port to volcanos and waterfall? Thanks os much
  12. Since they continued to advertise and sell your cruise after they changed it, if you wanted to cancel I think you might have success if you contact the media. This site was talking about possibly doing a story when NCL did the same thing a few months ago. gene.sloan@thepointsguy.com You can also try to contact travel scam sites or travel news sites. Technically, NCL has the right to change their itinerary for any reason, but they shouldn't continue to advertise cruises as traveling to cancelled destinations. Its customers like you who purchased months after ports were cancelled that might be able to get the attention of the media. At this point, cruise critic users probably know about this, but other travelers have the right to know.
