I fully agree that P&O should be held accountable for the high charge for booking a seat in advance just to be sat near the person you are travelling with.

We go early March, and booked the cruise whilst we were on the Arvia in May. At the time of booking we weren't even told that we had to book PE seats immediately. So we waited until July only to be told that they were all fully booked and there was a waiting list. We have opted to pay for economy seats that suit us. Just to be sure that we have two isle seats. As on a long flight it's nice to be able to get out of your seats without disturbing others.

My husband is not fully disabled, but has to use a stick to walk sometimes due to having two new knees. He is a strong man though.

Yes, we wanted isle seats and saw some for 40ish pounds each and then booked in row 12 front seats and they were 93.00 each. We did not realise that some seats are free. My husband must have an isle seat as he is disabled and cannot be hemmed in. We are also on a waiting list for the extra leg room seats as p&o said that there may be some cancellations. We were not aware at the time of booking that you have to be quick to get extra leg room seats.

we have booked our flights to Barbados for our p&o cruise in March 2024. Its cost us almost 400.00 to reserve economy class seats. We were not warned about this when we booked the cruise.

I am horrified by the whole story. As I had a bad stammer when I was younger. As the years have gone by its almost unnoticeable but comes back when I am tired and stressed. Its totally unacceptable and P & O should ban these despicable women from sailing with them again. They will be named eventually.

I too used to have a bad stammer, but it's almost gone as I have got older, but I fully understand how Gareth must have felt. I really feel for him. He seems a really lovely man, and a father to boot. He seems to have a great partner. Those women should be banned from all cruise ships.
