Any reviews on this? We want to stay close to home and are just going for the ship experience, not the ports. Sorry I can't seem to find the search function on this main board.

I know agents can't be recommended on this forum, but does anyone have any tips for finding a good seasoned agent? We prefer not to use Oceanias in house group.

We are Barcelona to Venice in April on Marina. Havent been on Marina in years didn't realize it is due for refurbishment. Hope she is not showing age too much!

I know there are a lot of ports on this cruise but overall (if possible to answer without getting too detailed) what are options for getting around and seeing a bit of the areas without excursions? We have only done caribbean cruises in the past and were content with getting off the ship and spending an hour or 2 walking around. (We are not big on group sightseeing.) A few of the ports are Taormina, Sicily, Argostoli Greece, Kotor Montenegro and Split. Are taxis avail close to ports in the bigger ports like Rome and Postiano? I realize this may be complex to answer and I thank you in advance for any advice you may have!

We too did not read the fine print and thought it was still 90 days out. We hesitate to pay that far in advance!

We agreed to be waitlisted for a Med cruise in April that we were not 100% sure that we wanted to take. The Oceania advisor said that there was no risk whatsoever and he would contact us via phone and let us know if something opened up and we would have 3 days to decide. We were sent an email on Sept. 9 of an opening that I overlooked, so now we are booked and final payment due. I am frustrated that he did not reach out by phone. I had strong words with him and would like to change to someone I feel would represent us better. Please do not tell me I should have seen the email. I realize I should have been more careful and searched periodically to see if I had any corespondence from Oceania.
