I know initially it was promised icon would sail out of Southampton wonder why that changed, obviously the weather is colder and a lot of the ship is open but I was surprised when Miami was announced, maybe icon 2 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thanks for the advice everybody much appreciated. Yeah we have done the these parks multiple times and over the last couple years only done universal we have aged out of Disney 😂 excited for Epic and will without doubt book for 2025/26 and add on a cruise…obviously

Oasis 😊

Looking at 2024, We are considering 2 options (FYI we are from Scotland) - TA from Barcelona to FL then a week in Orlando and fly home. The big draw is one flight 😩 or - Orlando for 2 weeks and a week on icon. We haven’t done a TA before and as they are a bit cheaper we could get connecting balconies one for us and one for the teenager but the prices on icon are so expensive I don’t see us getting 2. Thanks for any advice.

Agreed, we did Indy in February. Had a fab time however I probably wouldn’t go on that ship again seemed a bit ‘old’ especially the cabins. The ship did feel aged and a bit rough around the edges.

Makes sense, the immersive dining would be interesting too. Not a fan of the bionic bar anyway was a one time novelty for us

Do you think allure would be amp’d (if it happens) like she was going to get or would they up the game more like Utopia? Just thinking she may continue the short cruises like Utopia 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m reading numerous ‘rumours’ that she may finally be amplified in 2025 for the summer season in Europe, I’m new to this and was reading that she was meant to be done pre Covid. Was reading today that some are suggesting her amplification may be changed slightly from the last time and she may get some of the same new features that are on Utopia. I assumed because the amplification was pulled last minute all the ‘parts’ would be sitting waiting. What do you think?

Thanks 😊 I asked royal about allure going into dry dock they confirmed feb to mid April 2025 so hopefully she gets some amplification. I haven’t done oasis class yet and if she does a TA I was considering booking. If she gets her updates would she be equivalent to the likes of symphony and wonder? Don’t want to be disappointed on a 14 day cruise 😂

Yeah it’s pretty disappointing 😩 I was looking forward to icon coming to Southampton. I’m looking at 2025 in Europe but from what I heard the oasis ship will be allure as it’s going into dry dock. I wasn’t a fan

If they do a taster do they normally do a customer TA over to the states or does it go empty?

What big ships do we think will do Europe 2025, I read allure is going into dry dock feb-April 2025. Thinking possibly second icon ship as she should be sailing at that time 🤷🏼‍♀️
