No, we do not. But we like more traditional dinning so we have the same table, staff etc..... That being said, we are actually going to try Anytime Dining on the two nights we are not doing a specialty dining.

Looking at the next cruise as the budget allows prepaying........... How deep are the average discounts when booking on board at the Future Cruise Desk vs most direct On-Line sales for a cruise two years out. I know if I use a TA, that they monitor and will rebook at a lower price if available between initial booking and last day possible. And I know I can book on board and then transfer the booking to my TA when I get home. I am future planning as retirement day nears. Already trying to figure out 2029 45th Anniversary and 2039 50th Anniversary cruises. Near term it is retirement day & and a birthday day cruise or two.

Does Princess still have the 5K walk on board each sailing for the Princess Foundation? It seems to support the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer group. My wife and I will be doing AVA Volksmarches in our Ports of Call as our inexpensive excusurions. Thought doing the Onboard 5K would be a nice thing one one of our three sea days.

Following up..... Found the Sign Out. But it still leaves the App open. The App locks the swipe function of my tablet so I can't get back to the main screen. Phone version lets me get back to main screen. Both are Android. Must be something with this particular version of Tablet. I will try on another. I am work through getting a book or three downloaded for travel times, etc......

On my phone and tablet, the App has no exit button that I can find. It is hiding somewhere? On my tablet, the App rotates 90 degrees in the wrong direction. All other apps go the other way 90 degrees. Any idea of changing some App setting?

I just purchased a medallion holder that has the RFI ID blocking screen "built in" to help protect your WiFi Credit / Debit Card ( tap and pay ), Passport card, etc...I will need to double check if the cover over the medallion has it as well.

What has been the recent "Your room will be ready at ...." time for the Grand at Vancouver? How do they notify you if it is ready earlier or there is delay with that particular cabin? Is there a baggage hold area available so I do not have to drag my carry on with me for XX hours should I get early boarding but late cabin readiness time? I would like to "drop and go."

I will fly into Vancouver International Airport and stay one night in a local hotel prior to my cruise departure from the Vancouver Cruise Terminal. Should I tip bag porters / dock workers in CAD or USD? I will have both available.

It was fun to see some traditionalist spouse group leaders try to make me feel unwelcome only to have the newer spouses welcome me and ask for my help. Hoot and a half it was.

I only own Army dress blues. So I wear a block bow tie as needed instead of 4-in-hand. No big deal. This is our 40th Anniversary cruise. We will be on the ship on our actual anniversary. I just that I would do it up. We chose this cruise to see SE Alaska after having spent two summers in the interior using Ft. Wainwright as our base of operations. I have a good suit that travels well rolled up into a Pringles can. I guess I will use that.

I guess I am just old fashioned. I still wear full dress uniform as a military vet to the 11:30 PM the Combined Protestant Candlelight Service at Soldiers Memorial Chapel on post every year.

When I last cruised for a major Wedding Anniversary, I was able to rent a tux and it was in my cabin when we boarded. How do I do that now for my next cruise in August 2024 aboard Grand Princess?
