  1. I don't consider them "wild game" as everything available here is "farm raised" so it meets the government regulations for food. I only called it exotic because not everyone eats any of them.
  2. I like good escargot. I would expect that in the Crown Grill every night along with Fois Gras. I forgot about Duck. That's some good eats right there.
  3. Are meat options like goat, lamb, quail or pheasant generally available at least once on the MDR menu during a 7 day cruise?
  4. I am on vacation when cruising....so I like a small bowl of grits with butter and sugar, extra crispy hashbrowns with ham, mushrooms and a drizzle of cheese, scrambled egg (just one) with a touch of cheese and hot sauce, a sausage link or patty, fresh OJ and a glass of very cold Whole Milk. EACH AND EVEY DAY........feed me until you have to roll me out................LOL
  5. Just like Vicki Stubing was when her father was the Captain of the Pacific Princess. LOL
  6. During the first Gulf War, it looked like m wife and I would both be sent over so we have to get extra copies of stuff just in case. I walked into the State Board of Health office in uniform and walked out with 10 free copies and note telling me to send any other soldiers born in that state there. Similar happened when I call the county where my wife I got our marriage license and the state where she was born. Now the kids each have file with 5 copies. The daughter we adopted also has 5 copies of the adoption decree. We did this just so they would not have issues like your DW.
  7. Thank you. They are not showing up on mine yet, Maybe too far out. But that works for the budgeting exercise.
  8. What is the current Lotus Spa prices? I know they may change between now and then but I need to do some budget and schedule planning. Some are posted on the PCL website but not all. What is a couples 60 minutes (or whatever time they allot)? With or without hot stone? Add aroma? Does it vary by type? Swedish vs Shiatsu vs Turkish Jack Hammer? Just some examples of what my wife and I treat each other with for birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas becasue we enjoy it.
  9. OK, I know that there is a time change on that itinerary. How immediate is it applied when we sail? In the middle of the night or when we blow the horn and engage the caterpillar drive (and starting singing)? Thanks in Advance.
  10. THIS HAS BEEN ANSWERED. NO NEED FOR ANY FURTHER REPLIES. Thank you.
  11. For one port, Yes. The timing is important. We have alternatives but we are trying to attend a church service on the given day as that given day is our 40th Anniversary. We thought attending would be nice but the port arrival time, drive time and service start time make the timing tight. The bonus is the sister of one the ladies we attend church with here, lives in that port city and attends the church in that port. So it is kind of like knowing someone already.
  12. What is the definition of Arrival in Port? Is it crossing some arbitrary line on the chart? Then still an hour more before the first mooring line is cast Or is it when the crew is able to secure the first mooring line? Or when it starts the spin and side slide into the berth?
  13. All wines have sulfites. Organic wine tend to have much less.
  14. I am sorry to see that. I have had several from Argentina. This was at wine tasting at Fort Belvoir, VA. That is how I learned I can drink small glasses of it without having the reaction I have with most other wines. Even more of the Chez Snotty French wines give me an instant headache when just doing a tasting.
  15. Seeing the Sabatini's Wine Sale thread made me think after reading the list............. Does PCL offer Organic, low Sulfite wines? And are the reasonable identified on the wine list? I can cook with any wine, but I opt to drink I have to watch the sulfite levels. Instant headache.
  16. I had seen that and saw on the YouTuber mention no more FRS or GRMS on board. I accept that change. Again was just hoping..........
  17. That is disappointing. I just wanted to use ARPS and maybe call out on any repeaters I program for each port. I get not setting up a shack in the cabin and putting and antenna on the balcony. Oh, well.....a little less to pack
  18. OK, I hold a US Amateur Radio license. I know that in order to have my simple held held unit on board that I 1) apply for permit from Bermuda radio authorities 2) request permission from ship captain My goal is NOT to use while on board but while on shore to track my position and receive cell phone-like text messages without paying International rates. 1) has anyone else done this? 2) how do I know who the captain will be 12 months in advance since that is the only one who can approve it? Thanks in advance.
  19. disregard....................I missed a sentance in the OP.
  20. Amazon based on the list from "Life Well Cruised" channel. Cruise On Princess Medallion Accessories Wallet (Women) Leather with Ocean Medallion Holder It does not have an RFID shield over the Medallion
  21. ???? I thought we could either pick Traditional Dining with a fixed time, table & staff, or go with anytime and have to make daily reservations. And then throw in a Specialty dining or two and let our Traditional Team know we would not be there on those days. Oh well..........................no big deal. I just hope we can work the Anytime reservations to fit our target schedule. Not that we are scheduling every minute but trying to experience some things we have not before.
