I have never been invited to a pre-meeting!
Are they well attended? I am not sure I would want to spend time on vacation hanging out at a meeting when the necessary details are adequately explained in the letter on the bed. What is the purpose of a meeting?
It is bad enough getting to the meeting point on time on the day and hanging around waiting for those that are late as mentioned above. I wouldn’t want to spend more time prior to the cruise end. What do they explain that isn’t in the letter?
To each their own.. Haven't been to one in awhile. Some are well attended. Good info and Q and A for someone that hasn't done a B2B cruise. The ones I've attended in the past have been held on a sea day in the early afternoon.

My wife and I are booking a B2B on Wonder out of Port Canaveral for next February. Does anyone any tips, trick or advice they would be willing to share?
One tip. Each leg of the B2B cruise is two different cruises. So your onboard account will be closed at the end of the first leg. Nothing carries over to the second leg. Spend all your nonrefundable OBC or you'll lose it. You will receive a TAD letter a day or two prior to your TAD outlining the entire TAD process. You will also be invited to attend a B2B (consecutive cruisers) meeting a day or two prior to the first leg ending. I recommend you attend as that meeting will be specific to your B2B cruise. Enjoy. 🍻

We will be boarding the Beyond on Sunday for a B2B............so we will have 2 weeks to experience the Zenith "light" level, check out the benefits and acceptance on board. We are looking forward to getting back on the Beyond (1 month ago), being a good Pinnacle ambassador and make some new Zenith friends. We aren't allowed in the Retreat Lounge (space available), so it might be difficult to discern who's a "Z" as most don't wear pins for identification and it is frowned upon to ask ones loyalty status.
IMO, your acceptance as a crossover Zenith will be no different than when you took your first Celebrity cruise as a crossover Elite. I always find things different on the cruise then what's posted on CC.

My husband wants to take advantage of Celebrity's sale in 2025 8-day roundtrip Athens. I would like to connect a cruise to Sicily or Venice.
I tried using Cruise Mapper to track itineraries of cruiselines. Is there an easier way? This is getting overwhelming!
I use the cruise lines website I want to book with or a TA website to compare prices for the intinaries, dates, cruise line and ship. I do this no matter the length of the cruise or setting up a B2B cruise.

Not necessarily. While it is usually the case that back to back passengers are offered lunch in the main dining room on TAD, I was recently on a transatlantic where there were 400 back to back passengers, and we were told that the numbers would overwhelm the dining room at lunchbso instead they had a Cocktail hour one evening, which didn’t seem to any of us to be an equivalent, but that’s the way they did it
Thanks. That's a bummer. The TAD lunches are nothing great, but still a nice gestor. At least the CC did something.

On other lines I have been on, you could avoid the crowds at the buffet on embarkation day by going to the main dining room for lunch. Is this true of Celebrity? We don't have any special status on X that would entitle us to anything more than what any other passenger would get.
True for Celebrity and RC. Book a B2B cruise and you can have lunch in the MDR on your TAD. Or a Concierge Class cabin. Limited MDR menu.

LOL...I just assumed your post was a joke anyway. 😄 Like wearing a Carnival t-shirt on an RCI ship. 😉
I sometimes wear different cruise line T-shirts or hats while on another cruise line. We cruise with Princess also but I don't own anything that says Princess on it. 😂

One last question (I promise)
Is the classic Beverage package the same as what you posted for the drinks from 5-7?
sorry, but we’ve never been on X yet, but have 5 booked….👍
No. That beverage menu is specific to the CC HH. You will order your drinks from the regular bar menus.

On our last Celebrity NE/Canada cruise there were two umbrellas in the cabin. One was huge. Two of us could fit under it. The other normal size. Good enough for us. We always pack the small travel size umbrellas.

Crappy choices….whats BP? Beverage package? I would hope there’s better choices on that!
Beverage Package. Classic Beverage Package (CBP) or Premium Beverage Package (PBP).

Meant wasting your time sitting there trying to get a drink like we did.
Even if we had to wait for a drink still wouldn't be a waste of our time. If the venue is busy, of course we would expect a wait or leave to find another. Plenty of other places for a drink. Exactly why we stay away from Celebrity's martini bars especially for pre supper drinks. Very popular, so always crowded. Cheers. 🍻

Most Pinnacles that I've met are perfectly nice people and don't put on airs. The ones who do simply aren't in my orbit. Among the many things that I love about Celebrity is how there isn't a constant undercurrent of "how many points do YOU have?"
We have never had anyone ask us and we don't ask what tier levels or cruise points. No matter the cruise line. Same with politics and religion. Way too many other interesting things to talk about.

Went to lounge, told to sit down & server would be around, never came around, went to bar & told to sit down & server would be around. It took 3 nights to get one drink. At least at the Diamond Lounge we could get a drink every night, might be crowded but we always got a drink.
Not our experiences pre and post covid on any of our Celebrity cruises.

The upcoming cruises we have booked on X, we have premium package, BUT since we’re only Elite Plus with our status, just how bad is the nightly Happy Hour? What made it a sick joke? Crappy choices, slow bar service? I wish they would just do like a royal and allow 5 drinks. I remember back when we had to go to the D lounge to get the drinks….that was awful.
IMO, the CC HH is not bad at all. Just not as good as RCs. Precovid the organized CC HH was held in the Sky Lounge (on the S & M class ships) from 5 to 7:PM. No small buffet set up for snacks. Roaming servers came around with different finger foods and drinks. The drinks were from a limited CC HH beverage menu. Very similar to what the CAS beverage menu use to be. Now the CC HH is at most bars (some bars excluded. Ship class specific. You will receive a welcome aboard letter in your cabin from the CC host detailing all events, times and perks. Just like with the CAS.) from 5 to 7:PM. Drinks are from the limited CC HH beverage menu not the bare menu. Starting about a few months ago the CC started the CC HH back up in one of the lounges (ship specific to which lounge) from 5 to 7:PM. Again, roaming servers come around with different finger foods and drinks. The drinks are from a limited CC HH beverage menu. This CC HH event is only scheduled for two to three nights, depending on the length of the cruise. The other nights of the cruise the CC HH is at most bars. 5 to 7:PM. Since you have a BP just order those drinks and not the CC HH drinks. That's what we do. You be the judge based on your experience(s).

You will receive a letter in your stateroom a day or two prior to your TAD with all the details for your specific TAD. Also a day or two prior to your TAD there will be a TAD meeting for all B2B cruisers. I suggest attending as this meeting will be specific to your TAD.

Thanks to all. Very helpful info. We are U.S. Citizens. We are cruising with Celebrity. I'll touch bases with Celebrity concerning their Passport policy. Better safe than sorry. Not criminals, our last name isn't a common one and other than my 98 year old mother and my wife (😂, no going there) I'm the only other one with the last name.

Oh what a shame. I took my 11 year old Grandson on adventure of the seas mainly for the water slides and Perfect Day at Coco Cay. I was surprised at how nice the Diamond Lounge was on a very old ship.
I agree the Crown Lounge on the Adventure is really nice.

Returning from an Alaskan cruise on 20 September 2024 on the Celebrity Edge. Are there porters as you disembark to schlep your luggage thru customs? Are there taxis waiting to take you to the Vancouver airport?
Our Passports expire 25 Jan 2025. Will our Passports still be valid for our 13 thru 20 September Alaskan cruise? The cruise leaves from Seattle and returns to Vancouver?

We always do 6:00 PM in the MDR. If we didn't have one of the BPs we would have a couple CC HH drinks before in a lounge then get a couple more and carry them into the MDR. We use to do that before the current CAS so called voucher program and before RC allowed CAS HH drinks to be ordered in the MDR.
