  1. I'll be on the initial sailing after drydock. NCL has let passengers know the thermal suites will not be complete during this sailing.
  2. Sthrngary, Completely agree with you. The Pommery rose is not very good, despite Pommery Brut Royal being better and cheaper on land than the rose. Limiting other included Champagne brands to speciality dining is a scam... Otherwise IMO there are only two wines worth paying to upgrade for (Barolo & Banfi Brunello di Montalcino). Thus I've decided to pay 1/4 of the cost of the Premium Plus upgrade to buy and bring on my own Champagne/wine. I'd also argue that when you're staying in the Haven this elevates the beverage experience you get as the servers and bartenders seem to want to talk to you about the wines you brought.
  3. I'm 100% with you. Donna Summers show was so bad I gave it 30 minutes and left. Meanwhile I was also hesitant about Million Dollar Quartet and thought it was outstanding. Personally it seemed like the actors/actresses in Donna Summers were just mailing in it, while Millian Dollar Quartet felt like it was the most important show they ever played.
  4. Was on the Prima in November and only remember the art being setup in there for the Art Auction. Was it like this the whole cruise?
  5. Was in 14906 a few weeks ago and there was some creaking in our room during rough seas. Otherwise, the only other noise we heard was from the overhang of the haven restaurant with chairs scraping on the floor as people stood up/sat down. While the noise was minor IMO, there are people on here who expect their room to be completely silent...
  6. Last year on the Breakaway we had our dessert delivered from Cagney's to our room (Club Balcony). Last week on the Prima we had our Guacamole & Chips packaged up and delivered by our butler to the room (Haven Penthouse Balcony). I think it just depends on your server, both times our server offered to package it up for us without us even asking.
  7. Just got off the Prima in the Haven on 3 Nov. We LOVED our cruise! Below are some superstar employees to seek out: I'Gede (Haven Restaurant Waiter) Maria (Haven Bartender) John (Head Concierge) Happy to answer any specific questions you may have (PM me).
  8. I did a baltics cruise last year on the Breakaway. The cruise had more crew than people due to a combination of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Europe's COVID requirements. By far one of the most amazing cruises I've been on. Service was out of this world, food was excellent and the Million Dollar Quartet was incredible! Worst part of the cruise was that is was just cold enough to not be able to enjoy the outside decks 75% of the time. Otherwise, I can't imagine any other cruise will equal or exceed the level of service we got on that cruise. I'd go back on the Breakaway in a hearbeat, even if it was at capacity.
  9. Did all 5 villages round trip via kayak; incredibly cheap, best views and no crowds. Would only recommend if you think those cruising with you are up to the challange
  10. 100% this. Especially if you're cruising in Europe, since NCL sources all their wine through the US. I'd rather drink many of the 5 Euro Italian, Spanish or French wines versus all but a few of the wines offered onboard. In fact I'm going to be buying my own french champagne and italian wine in port before we board for 10% of what they are charging for upgrading to P+ for exaclty this reason.
  11. Was wondering since I saw you ask before your cruise; how was the internet? I need to do a small amount of work while I'm on the cruise, but usually nothing more than browsing/entering data into websites and at most downloading a 10MB file. My last 2 NCL internet experiences make me think I'll be ok, but thought I'd ask since you were wondering something similar about the Prima. Thanks!
  12. Cruising in the Haven on the Prima on Oct 23rd, so I'll be greatly looking forward to your full comments/review.
  13. I think we're on the same cruise. We booked HE coming out to $275pp/pn including fees/discounts/etc. Defintely check if your fare dropped as we got a $1000 fcc due to a price drop.
