Some tour operators will pick you up from Maro’e. Windstar provides no solution, although someone on another thread said the Destination Manager arranged a ride for them. We’re looking for a solution too. Sailing on 9/28. Le Truck from Maro’e is a PG thing. I wish WS would do that.

Just heard back from Raiatea Location. They do not accept the California Boater Card 😞 La Plage in Bora Bora say on their FAQ that they accept foreign licenses.

You’re right @Tahitianbigkahuna, I did say no license. But you also said a Boater Card works 🙂. They seem easy enough to get. I’ve read many of your past posts in preparation for this trip. Really appreciate the insight.

Is there a US equivalent that is accepted in FP? Would a CA boater card do?

Does anyone rent boats (no license) or Kayaks in Raiatea? Going on a 7 hour tour sounds scary to me…
