I’m not an alcohol drinker. I typically drink unsweet iced tea and water. And I want to unplug from reality while on a cruise so internet service isn’t appealing. I don’t think the Plus and Premier packages would be beneficial to me. But, I love food and would eat at a specialty restaurant every night if I could. Does Princess offer specialty dining packages on the first day of their cruises? Thanks

I’m thinking of booking a 10 day Panama Canal partial cruise on the Ruby Princess in December out of Fort Lauderdale. The cruise fares are substantially less than other ships. I’m concerned about the reasoning for this. Is the ship and staff up to the same standard as the rest of the Princess fleet? I know it’s going into dry dock before the cruise date. Any insights would be helpful. Thanks
