  1. We brought a suitcase full of good wine. We primarily used the wine at the specialty restaurants and paid the 25 dollar corkage fee. The wine was delivered with the rest of the luggage. We bought a bottle of gin at one of the ports and used their tonic in the room, never left the room with our hard liquor.

We did enjoy the happy hour where you get 2/1 drinks, and we mingled with other guests.

    Hope this helps

  2. Your ship might change. We were on the trip and the cruise before our cruise had to change boats in Lyon. Our ship did make it through. Lots of wine tastings with good wines. I loved having an option on tours. On one trip, I went to the cooking school, and my husband went another direction. One morning we asked if we could change tours and CD said sure.

The history is amazing in the south of France. We were well taken care of and loved having the patio with the glass that goes up and down. It was nice not have to figure out what to tip the driver and local guides. That is all taken care of for us.

  3. We have great internet. We have a lot of Australians, which is what I expected. The evening have been busy with dancing and a lot of partying. The alcohol is flowing freely.

It is great to have options for tours. They are all great. My husband and I did different tours which was no problem. We are having problems to decide which tour to attend. If we choose to change tours, there is no problem.

  4. two years ago we were on a Celebrity cruise with an overnight in Bordeaux. Bogdan Ghita took us around for an excellent tour. We did tastings on both sides of the river at small and large wineries. His web is bordeauxvertigo. Hope this helps
