Crossing the Atlantic. Does one get bored with so many days at sea?? How rough is the voyage?

We were on Celebrity last year. We were quite a ways from Bordeaux. Bogdan Ghita picked us up at the port and drove us all around for two days. We elected to stay in Bordeaux rather than going back to the ship. Don't miss St Emillion. The town is beautiful. We were there in Oct and they were picking grapes. Two of our tastings were at classified Bordeaux's. We had 8 people who met via Cruise Critic. His van was very roomy.

What guide company or name of individual did you use for Pompeii? Thanks

We did a trip last year on Millie. If you have a tender port and you book a private tour, you might be the last to get off the ship(2 plus hours). We had a big problem in Bali, Lombook, and Kamodo. We missed our tour in Bali.

I have picked up 18 countries geocaching. There are caches in Machu Picchu, Russia, China, etc. Some times my wife and I hike, other caches are in the city. It is a good way to work off the cruise food.
