I bring Tide Pods and some Bounce sheets in a zip loc and then just pay for the washer/dryers.

Suite breakfasts are now in the Crown Grill. It moved when Sabatini’s was moved from their spot on Deck 5 to the Piazza (where the Catch was), The Catch is now on deck 5.

I keep reading posts about purchasing FCCs on the app. Just to confirm: we do still need to be onboard in order to do this? I checked the app at home but can't find anyway to purchase.

The passengers in the Go Lounge are not the first ones to board. As a matter of fact, on March 7, (Enchanted Princess), they delayed us because it was so crazy in Terminal 2 due to the full Coast Guard inspection. It seems they don’t want you to have a stressful time boarding, so it’s not about being the first. In the meantime, while you wait, there is food, drink (no alcohol), no crowds, and they will book your reservations. It’s very nice.

It is by invitation only. When you arrive, they check their list for your name. Invitations usually go out within 7 days of the cruise (via phone call and/or email).

@Ken the cruiser Yes, the balcony wraps around slightly. The Bedroom is directly in front with a picture window. The living room has the sliding glass doors. We stayed each time on Lido deck. Marina deck’s balcony is even bigger, again with a slight wrap around. Keep in mind that the rails are steel, not glass, in case you want an unobstructed view.

We were also on Sky in December and Enchanted In March. Our cabin steward told us to put out the luggage before we turned in. I don't see how getting the luggage into the luggage hold earlier will help with embarkation when passengers still disembark at the same times and need to grab their luggage before leaving the terminal.🤔

I didn't even notice that because we had the early flight last week and did walk-off. I just looked at our disembarkation instructions and sure enough it did say put luggage out before dinner. They used to say to put most of it out before dinner and the rest by 10 (that time varied). Wonder if that is just a Port Everglades thing?
-
I don't know who told you that luggage had to be out by dinner time. 49 cruises with Princess and we put our bags out right before we retire for the night (about 11PM).

I believe that a lot of people book with their FCC's and then cancel closer to final payment for whatever reason. I would check once in a while (definitely when you become closer to final payment). I've always lucked out and gotten the suite I wanted. Good luck!

I would dispute, dispute, dispute. There have been many others on these boards who have problems getting the onboard credits when they need them. Good luck to them. This is awful.

So sorry to hear about your hotel experience. It's an awful way to start off your vacation, but keep in mind you'll be on the ship soon! We had a similar experience in Fort Lauderdale years ago. Since then we only stay by the beach at resorts like the W or Ritz Carlton. Yes, more money, but definitely worth it. Bon Voyage!!! Can't wait to read about your cruise!

We were on Royal Princess San Francisco to Hawaii in a full suite and received the enclave free as a suite perk.

20165: Were you invited to tour the bridge through the concierge or did you request a tour?
-
Thanks for that info. I wasn’t thinking gym, I was thinking spa.
-
Don't you need to purchase a pass to the Enclave or have a spa service in order to use the showers in the spa? Otherwise it seems like everyone would go down there to shower.

The reserve class cabins that you are speaking of (L107, 108) and (M107, 108) also have a Iiving room and bedroom. Best cabin IMHO after a full aft suite.

No folio for me from the 3/7-3/17 cruise on Enchanted Princess. However we did receive one in December on Sky. May they did discontinue sending them?

Carolyn, when you go to The Catch, ask for Irinya as your waitress. She is phenomonal.

I remember the large balloons being hit all over the theater to keep us busy while we waited for the show to begin.
On Caribbean Princess, it was James Lay, Lisa Ball and their cruise in the show. We laughed so hard we cried.
It was definately a great ending to the cruise.

We were asked whether we wanted shade or sun loungers. As I stated before, I really think that the success of getting what you want is whether the ship concierge gets the information to the Sanctuary Manager right away.
-
So you have been to the GO Lounge and this is what you were told or is this what the manager of the Sanctuary told you? Strange that both times we were there, the concierges’ were booking the Sanctuary for people.
-
We have been lucky enough to pre cruise at the GO Lounge 2 times. The first time we were in a reserve class mini so we wanted the Sanctuary. The concierge at the Lounge (Anthony) called over to the concierge on board the ship to take the reservations. Being a little cynical, we still went up to the Sanctuary as soon as we boarded to double check the reservation. Manager said he know nothing about it, however, luckily he was able to fit us in for the week. I believe that everything may depend on how quickly the concierge on board takes care of the requests.
Our second time we were in the GO Lounge we were in a full suite and didn't need the Sanctuary.
The Lounge is a very nice pre boarding area. Just double check the reservations when you get on board.

The store on Deck 5 in the Piazza has Pringles and candy for purchase. However, this could be a good time for him to expand his pallet and try new things. My son was a junk food eater, but on his first cruise, never went hungry and tried many new things!
