  1. We are on Arvia's transatlantic cruise out of Southampton on the 27 October. We received our flight details a few weeks ago. We are flying back to Manchester with Maelth Aero on the 11 November to Terminal 1. Flight Nº MLT1975 leaving Barbados at 17.30, arriving Manchester 05.45 on the 12th. I assume we will have to leave Arvia shortly after breakfast. Annoyingly P&O don't mention what happens between then and our flight. We are assuming we a free to do our own thing and then have to make our own arrangements to get to the airport. Has anyone have experience?
  2. Am I correct in thinking you work for P&O. If you are it is pleasing that you responded to my complaint. Problems occur and systems fail. However, the way P&O responded (or lack of response) to this crisis was disgraceful. Nothing was posted on its web site acknowledging thee problem. Customers were left completely in the dark trying to access the booking web site for a week. The telephone agents were not able to give any assistance, but only meekly apologies.
  3. P&O told me that it was a one class cabin with NO premium seats. I am 6’4” and had no choice other than pay an outrageous £195 for two extra legroom seats, on what appears to be very much a second rate “Ryanair” flight. With over a week delay in being able to book seats the whole system has been an absolute shambles. P&O were unable to provide any assistance or comfort during the delay. A disappointment and a disgrace. This is our first time on Arvia and on this type of cruise. Fingers crossed things get better once we are on board! 🥴
  4. Thanks for your comments. We’re cruising on P&O’s Arvia out of Southampton on the 27 October. I believe the ship will be fitted with Starlink by then 🤞🏼
  5. Does anyone know P&O wifi will allow you to share with another device using your phone as a personal hotspot?
  6. P&0 advise that the standard seat pitch is 32". However, the Maleth Aero web site for the two planes used by P&0 states that it is only 30".
  7. My wife and are sailing on Arvia out of Southampton on 27 October. I am too disappointed that we will not be flying back from Barbados on a TUI Dreamliner. I am 6’4” and have flown on the Dreamliner before which was always comfortable. The Maleth Aero planes only have a standard seat pitch of 30”, and I know I won’t fit. The flight booker was meant to be available at midnight on the 27 September, but almost a week later it is still not working. I have tried and tried to book a couple of the very few extra legroom seats (at an extra cost!) with absolutely no success. No information, updates or help from P&O. The P&O telephone agents can’t provide any help or assistance. They can’t escalate our complaint or concerns, they can only meekly apologise for the companies shortcomings, which is of no help and hugely, hugely disappointing. In the last week I have spent hours on phone calls (mainly on hold waiting 60mins+ for an agent), written emails and posted messages all to no avail. This is very much spoiling the lead-up to our holiday. We are not at all happy and not at all likely to want to cruise with P&O again. ☹️☹️☹️
