  1. Would any of you get on that ship? I don't think a tug will be available in the mid Atlantic. Hitchhiking would be out, Uber does not go there, hmmm...
  2. Once this implodes, and it will, it will be a long time before folks will be willing to buy into an affordable residential ship.
  3. They have got a lot of chutzpah advertising for more saps to buy into this floating fiasco. Gotta hand it to them. They must be hemorrhaging money.
  4. It is time for people to cut their losses, lawyer up and get a refund. It is hard to let a dream die, but it is time to let it go.
  5. This was predictable. Those poor people. Time to lawyer up. What about that couple who were foolish enough to have 3 cabins customized for them? Oy.
  6. At what point do people just say, enough? This ship was to sail in May. It is now mid September.
  7. This is a scam. I am more convinced every day that they were simply under capitalized. Canceling a contract because of "negative" atmosphere. Time for a lawyer.
  8. The week of 9/9 is fast approaching.
  9. Then you know what I mean. Putting in a new kitchen required revamps of electrical, plumbing etc.
  10. They will discover a new problem on sea trials. I own a house that is almost 100 years old. You have to be prepared for ongoing issues and overhauls. My husband calls it the money pit. But we have been here 35 years But you must sink time and money into it. They are out of time and I suspect, out of money. Also, if something goes wrong with the house, I am not in the middle of the ocean and the house doesn't sink.
  11. It is 9/1/2024 and they have yet to sail or pass all the requisite certifications. Just how long are people supposed to wait for this ship to sail? I hope there are some good service stations along the way too
  12. The cabins are tacky and shows it's age. No way I would ever do this. These people are nuts.
  13. Sailing always seems to be just a week away. Then something occurs.
  14. I continue to say that I shall believe it when they sail away. However, I fear that day will in fact, never come. Then come the years, trying to get a refund, and trying to put together a life again.
  15. Does "never" count as a bet.
  16. If they were ready, they would be trumpeting that fact. Instead - silent.
  17. I don't think they will be able to pass inspection. Aged ship that has been idle for years. We shall see. 8/28/2024 was the new date. That is in a few days. Doubt they will make it.
  18. Oy. NDAs? Not a good sign at all. I don't believe this shi will ever set sail. Not seaworthy. I feel very bad for all those who sold their previous life away for this.
  19. Here it comes. It will soon be deemed unfit for sea and the wailing will begin. Good luck with refunds.
  20. Good grief. I thought they might be just days away from sailing. I am back to believing that I shall believe it when they sail out of Belfast.
  21. I wonder if there will be a monetary recompense for these problems. No
  22. I am sorry for his disappointment.
  23. Are you a passenger? Have you seen it?
  24. That is just a few days away. Are people boarding the ship in preparation for embarkation? Will this really happen, or will there be another last minute delay?
  25. I said long ago that I would believe it when it sailed away. Now begins the refund horror stories.
