I am not a great photographer, and have a tendency to drop anything I am carrying (including my phone!), so I purchased an Olympus Tough TG-7 waterproof camera for the trip. I hope to get some decent photos, but we will see! So sorry to hear about your mother-in-law, @mahdnc.

I’m still struggling with what footwear to bring for our trip this coming week. I’ve set out closed toe hybrid shoes (Keen Newports), Tevas, Altra waterproof sneakers, Keen hiking shoes, and loafers for traveling. I won’t have room for clothing if I bring all these shoes!! I also have some inexpensive water shoes. Any thoughts on whether I can safely remove one or two pairs from the pile? Thanks.

Hi. My husband and I are going to the Galapagos Islands in December, on Celebrity Xpedition. I'm trying to understand recommended footwear. For water landings - should we bring water shoes and then change into hiking shoes, or just wear waterproof hiking shoes. Thanks - we are looking forward to an incredible adventure!!
