It is a real shame that I forgot my cell phone. Without it we are not doing well getting together with Ally & Lyric. But we did find each other this afternoon and I shot some photos of them on the water slide.

Judith and I had a nice light lunch in the Windjammer.

The Turkey, Tomatoes, and Pickles were excellent! The bread was a bit stale from sitting out and way too crusty. I was able to make an excellent sandwich but the bread sort of fell apart every time I took a bite of the crust.

The water slides on the Pool deck are very popular. There is almost always a waiting line up the stairs.
-
After breakfast Ally & Lyric went up to the top of the Abyss and I shot some photos of them when they came out the bottom.

We had a nice breakfast at Johnny Rocket's (free) this morning with Ally & Lyric. The food was excellent although the pan cakes were not warm enough to melt the ice cold butter patties.

Lyric is always so bright and cheerful and she always has a stuffed animal or small toy with her to show off!

I absolutely loved the Oasis and Allure a few years ago and was really looking forward to the Harmony in December 2016. I also left the ship knowing that I prefer small ships. The noise and constant activity, the number of kids, and somehow it just seemed to be too much this time. I am 64 years old now and looking forward to retirement in just 27 working days, so possibly my outlook on what I really enjoy is just changing.
Look into the Southern Caribbean 10 & 11 night cruises. The Radiance class ships are great and there are very few kids on these cruises. And the itineraries seem to change a bit every year so that some of the islands are new.

Judith was up for a bit earlier and said her back was better. I hope it continues to improve today.

We have pretty much decided that the "Big Ships" are not for us any more.
Too much noise and commotion and too much walking!
The exception will be if Ally & Lyric decide to cruise on one again. If so, we will be there.
The Harmony is a beautiful ship but it is for kids and families. We don't like having to jump out of the way of a swarm of kids running and yelling.
Our next cruise, and several more after that, will be the 10 and 11 night Southern Caribbean itineraries on the Radiance Class ships.

Day 7 - Friday, February 24, 2017 - At Sea - Homeward Bound
Tomorrow afternoon we will be home with our Kitties, Puppies, and Chickens! We have missed them all!

Not very many people know this but I have always been really good with little kids and small animals!
I made a new little friend tonight! His name is Navy. He is two and lives with his Mom & Dad in the Hague near Amsterdam.
The Dad runs a "brick & mortar" shoe store and his Mom is starting up an internet sales operation for world wide sales of their shoes.
One day you ladies might be buying shoes from her internet site.

We had a wonderful dinner in the Windjammer with Ally and Lyric tonight!
Sorry no photos but we had a chance to talk and catch up over almost two hours.

We both have been taking it easy today, especially Judith whose back is really bothering her.

I have never seen a band at the Windjammer before.
And to us, they all seem to think that louder is better.
-
The kids all love their personal water park.
The giant tipping bucket is really popular!

This is the first time I have seen people playing cards on the low table while sitting on the front edge of the Adirondack chairs in the smoking area.
Everyone has been complaining about the. Most agree that they are comfortable once you are settled in but tough to get out of.

Ally sent me another email with an update on her adventures with Adventure Ocean.
The manager of AO called me at 930am to ask about last night's events. I advised her of the chaos I've witnessed the last 3x and theridiculous "you must bring her shoes NOW" dibacle. She was nothappy and agreed her employee should not have insisted I interrupt my eveningto bring shoes when the area is carpeted, Lyric was already there, and theymake them keep their shoes off anyway! She wasn't happy to hear I then hadto wait 25 minutes because they'd already taken her to the puppet show wherethey lock the doors so I couldn't give her her shoes anyway and that by then Iwas so annoyed from the wasted wait I just pulled her out 2 hours early ratherthan have to go back an hour later, so it ruined both our individual plans forthe evening.
She was very unhappy to hear that I've twice seen littlegirls crying with no workers noticing or having time to tend to them since theyare understaffed or the pushing, hitting and kicking between the boys, alsounnoticed and undetered. She said there were supposed to be 4 workersthere. There were only 2. There have only been 2 every time I've walkedin and 20-30 kids.
That being said, she apologized profusely and said she'doffer us free late night care (you pay after 10pm) the remainer of the cruiseif I chose to use it. I hadn't yet. Last night would have been thefirst as I had casino plans.
Lyric, thankfully, has enjoyed her times in there, as I toldthe manager, and wanted to go back this morning until pool time. Afterpicking her up at 11:30 am we were pleasantly surprised to find an AdventureOcean gift back pack in our cabin! It is full of fun activitybooks, an art set, troll slap bracelets, a cool red cap (just happens to be herfavorite color) water bottle, RCCL towel and more!
Kudos to the manager of Adventure Ocean! Shedefinitely responded accordingly and then went above and beyond to make up forsouring both our evenings.
I really appreciate the acknowledgement andkindness.
Ten stars!

There was a long line for the big wrist watch sale on deck 5 this morning.
-
The Miniature Golf Course on the aft end of Deck 15 was packed today.
-
I haven't seen any fancy glasses nor have I noticed anyone "pushing" a "Drink of the Day"
There is an auxiliary drink station near our "hang out" spot on the pool deck that is selling drinks in hollowed out pineapples like crazy.

Two photos from home sent by our Pet and Chicken Sitter.
Red Dog (on the floor) and Spotty (on the couch) eating their treats.
One of the Red Bud trees I planted by the drive way is really starting to bloom.

Here is a nice view of Central Park that shows why we will never have an inside balcony on Central Park or the Board Walk.

This is probably not a Russian Spy Ship but I thought is was interesting anyway.
