I will never sail a new ship within a one year period. Nothing but problems, broken promises and total disappointment. Too much money and so many other cruise ships and cruise lines. wow Princess has caused some major brand damage on this one.

So DISAPPOINTED IN PRINCESS.

Santorini was ship congestion and Kotor was “technical restrictions affecting our water shuttle operations”.

Kotor is now replaced with Bar. I was very disappointed with Santorini’s being cancelled and now Kotor. Frustrated again!

A couple of comments - you can book speciality dining regardless and if you have OBC then you can use it when getting on board.

The June 8th Sun Princess cruise cancelled Santorini and now headed to Chania. There is a beach excursion. Should we sign up, walk around town or something else?

I wouldn’t worry about a tux or coat and tie for that matter. Others may disagree with me but we normally travel on past our cruises and therefore don’t have room for really formal wear. I have never felt out of place. Many do dress up and they look great but the nature of our travel limits what we can pack.

I have been receiving an interior room and some free play since my 2023 TA last year. I received a balcony cabin offer and more free play from my 2024 TA this year. Will my offers forth coming be a balcony and more free play?

We just got off the Regal and there was some live entertainment including nightly in the piazza but there wasn’t a rousing piano bar environment on the ship. When we sailed the Enchanted in 2023, the piano bar was on fire - even the cruise director stopped by to sing Valerie by Amy Winehouse. Seems there is a major focus on the piazza which is fine but it still doesn’t have that piano bar vibe.

The interior was hot during the summer - it felt old.

Thinking of sailing the Emerald in October 2024. We loved the Enchanted, liked the Regal, prefer not to sail the Caribbean again, will let you know our thoughts on the Sun upcoming as we sail in June. What are your thoughts on the Emerald?

I have now consolidated all my gambling funds to cruising and away from land casinos. The offers have been better than what I was getting in Vegas. Will see how long that lasts but for now it’s great - booked through 2025.

There are a couple of odd things like how they calculate points on a back to back. If you do play as you say, you will most likely get a bounce back offer on the last night of your cruise. The formula is not transparent but “memoak” gave you a good proxy. For table games you can give your medallion to the dealer and they can get you money on your account. You should try a few - 3card poker is really easy. Standard play says unless you have a Q, 6, 4 or better in your hand you should fold.
