Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I am no comp chaser by any means, we play for fun but if I can better my odds of getting a comp cruise for playing then why would I not? I am taking what we are going to spend in the casino and that is it, does not matter if we have 5000 or 50k points in the end, once the funds are spent we are done.
  2. RCL is hit or miss when it comes to handpays and whos card is in the machine. We have always been paid no mater whos card is in the machine. Sometimes they pay the card owner, sometimes who hits the button but in the end you get paid. We file taxes jointly so that does not make a difference to us.
  3. I am not worried about the comps from onboard, i am more looking at comps thru email. Racking up more points on one card will definitely get you better email offers.
  4. Yes, you use your SS card. On RCL they give you a white card that is just used for the casino. Not sure on Carnival how they do it
  5. My wife and I are taking our first Carnival cruise in a few months and play in the casino. On RCL we always just use the same players card as we typically have gotten better comps by doing this. Is this allowed on Carnival? If so, can you just request a duplicate card from the casino host so that we can play at the same time? In the past on other lines if a hand pay was hit sometimes they paid who pulled and sometimes whos card was in the machine. It does not mater since taxes are filed jointly. Its all the same so that does not mater to us.
