Yes we were advised at 10.30 this morning whilst in the hotel that the cruise is cancelled. Full refund but no compensation. Have to claim off travel insurance.

Sorted, thanks for your help Essex cruiser

Yes John you have to put the name of the ship then in the next section it asks you for the address (No, street district etc).

Thank you so much, will try that tomorrow.

We are cruising on the 4 night cruise on QE on 27th November and I have been trying to complete our Passenger Locator Form for Belgium. It is asking for the address whilst in Belgium even though I have said its only 30th November. Does anyone know how I get around this. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hello, has anyone had their cruise credit yet from the 4 day cancelled cruise on Ventura. Wondering how P and O administer it. Many thanks

Latest update we hope to be leaving tomorrow that's still to be confirmed.
From our point of view po have handled the situation very well and are doing everything possible to help people.
We will be staying on and have had the unique opportunity to visit the island using the local buses in the lovely sunshine. If it wasn't for this unexpected breakdown I very much doubt we would be returning with a sun tan as the weather up until this point was very hit and miss
My email states 20% voucher equalling 20% of the original cruise fare. So not a great deal

Thank you all for your help and I will definitely report back after our cruise.

Thank you MOM your reply gives me a glimmer of hope. I have just been looking at the cost and as we are leaving for Tokyo in 12 days would need the expedited application which is over £400 pp. 2 hour wait is more acceptable. Have loads of copies of all documentation thanks.

I have just had an email from the consultant who booked our cruise for us. She said that she had spoken to the ship documentation officer who says that if 1) we are not flying home via any other Chinese city or South Korea and 2)we are leaving Shanghai area within 144 hours then Celebrity will allow boarding. However, he said from experience anyone with TWOV sometimes have a lengthy wait up to 2 hours in immigration after disembarking and would therefore advise that everyone obtain a multi visa. I am happy to put up with the wait if there is one. Thank you all for your help.

Thank you very much bigbenboys. I have spoken to the Chinese Embassy and even though we are eligible for the TWOV it is up to Celebrity and check in staff whether they will allow boarding under the TWOV programme. I cannot get anyone in Celebrity to confirm it for me. It is a nightmare and Celebrity don't seem to care.

Thank you all for your replies. Celebrity says the visa is our problem not theirs and they are not trained to give advice !! MOM SAYS - We are flying into Tokyo, then pick up cruise and disembark in Shanghai. This is the only Chinese port of call and it is after South Korea.

Thank you very much

Hello, I have just been on the telephone to C celebrity Cruises for advice on A Chinese 144 hour visa. We are travelling from Tokyo to Shanghai on 12th October. We will be flying into Tokyo and then on arrival at Shanghai will be stopping for 3 days. We will be returning from Shanghai to UK via Dubai. Am I correct in thinking that this qualifies for the TWOV as Celebrity has just told me that I won't and will need a full visa. Are the check in staff in Yokohama aware of the rules. Thank you very much. Marilyn

Where can we find out who is appearing in the Limelight Club in advance please.

On our Ventura cruise earlier this year we were given a boarding time of 3.30. We arrived at 1.30 and sat in terminal until 3.25. Won't get there earlier again, it was chaos.

I read it in one of the reviews but can't seem to find it now. Florisdekort, did you enjoy the itinerary, was the weather good. Probably going to book it tomorrow, yippee. Thanks for your replies.

We are thinking of booking the Dubai round trip cruise in November on the journey. We embark on 14th but the ship doesn't leave until 15th. Can anyone give me any idea of the boarding time on 14th as I have read that you cannot board until 8pm as the previous cruise will still be disembarking. I have rung Azamara but no one seems to know. Many thanks

We are taking the New York to Southampton cruise on 15th June 2017 but will be staying with our daughter in LA prior to this. Cunard gave arranged our flight to them for 3rd June on air Newzealand which we asked for at a cheaper cost than if we had arranged it ourselves. The other advantage is that you only pay a deposit and not the total amount. Have done this before and it works just fine.

We are on Reflection on 2nd May. What is the current testing regime to board please. We had Covid 4 weeks ago and even though showing negative on LFT afraid that if they insist on a PCR we could still show positive. Thank you
