First time on QM2 and wondering about something regarding the '24 Independence Day cruise on the QM2. Looking at the sailing map, it shows the return trip going through the Long Island Sound. Has anybody been on this cruise in the past and can confirm that they actually go through the Long Island Sound on the return trip? I don't see how they can as the QM2 just barely clears the Verrazano Narrows bridge at 228', while coming in from the Sound you would have to pass under the Manhattan Bridge (only 135' clearance) and the Brooklyn Bridge (127'). Any thoughts from a previous passenger? Thanks.

I booked the Independence week '24 cruise as well and was looking at pictures and could not figure out where deck 13 was. Thanks for posting that pic; it all makes sense now. I ended up with a mid-forward balcony on deck 11.
