I'd love to hear from anyone who has successfully used either of those at-home testing services.

Seems like an easy option for me:
I've searched and I've seen people say they are going to use it, but I haven't seen anyone say they successfully boarded the ship with it. Although I don't see why not. I have a supply of tests the US Government sent me and ONPoint would save me a couple of bucks.

Also my flights had NOT been ticketed yet.

One of my flights for a cruise in October was cancelled yesterday. I just rescheduled a different flight using FLIGHTS under the Princess Cruise Personalizer. I used a TA to book the cruise.
DO NOT CANCEL and then REBOOK THE FLIGHTS. I'm pretty sure you could be charged whatever the current price is if you do that. The way I did it there was NO change in the price even though the price had increased for NEW bookings.
If the flight is cancelled on the day of the flight then use the Princess En route Assistance number: 800-545-0008

Holland America already extended their version of it until the end of the year.

Have you used that site before to book?

Our flight "back east" just got cancelled and now our only option is a redeye that leaves at 10pm. Does anyone know of a hotel near SFO that rents rooms for day use? Just want a place to hang out until we go to the airport.

Does anyone know what the price of the Princess Transfer from the pier in San Francisco to the SFO Airport is?

Thanks for taking the time to do this "Live from" thread. Enjoyed it.

They let you book your own flights thru EZAir but not transfers. The only reason I can think of is the TA gets a commission on the transfers but not EZAir. Still very strange.

We did a train straight from Mt McKinley Lodge and it was a long trip. Started a couple of hours late (the train was late). Also had to wait for quite a while at a pull over so another train could pass the other way. As you can see I think it was 8 or 9 o'clock before we got on the ship. Luckily they checked us in on the train and we just walked in.

Thanks for taking the time to report. Yes that's a WAYMO car-Google's self driving car project.
Looking forward to hearing how the embarkation goes. We're on Ruby in October out of SF.

I recently used EZAIr recently to pick Main Cabin Economy seats on AA and there was no extra charge to choose my seats.

We book either Princess, Holland America or Celebrity based on itinerary, timing and price. More similarities than differences IMHO. If it doesn't bother you I'd recommend an inside or OV cabin. Europe is so port intensive you really don't have time for the balcony.

The names on our AA flights thru EZAir look exactly the same. I read somewhere it's always that way and won't cause a problem. I guess I'll find out in September!

We did this exact same itinerary years (decades!) ago. Out first non-Caribbean cruise. DId it in May before the bird sized mosquitoes were out. Great trip. Loved the land based part. Enjoy!

As someone who will cruise either line (plus Celebrity) based on itinerary, timing and price I agree with all your comments. The only thing I would add is that Holland America has better ice cream. lol

Well the Princess website now has removed the "for cruises booked by May 31" part of the "Book with Confidence" statement but still has the "for cruises taken by September 30" part. Which doesn't help me with my cruise that leaves Oct 1. Sigh...

Interest rates have been increased and will be increased more to try to slow down economic growth to get inflation under control. Many believe there will be a recession. Folks tend to cut back on unnecessary spending during a recession-thus the drop in all cruise line stocks-not just CCL.
At least that's the way I see it.

From the Princess website. So I'm thinking ONPoint probably won't be accepted.
