Thank you for you replies. Not having been in the dining rooms, I was unaware of the proximity to other guests, which is fine. Not thinking about myself, I was just thinking how single guests could miss out on this type of dining experience.

In the Speciality Restaurants, is there a facility to book the time you want to go and join other strangers at this time on a table; or do you go by yourselves or with a group of friends?

We paid for transport from the docks in Miami to the airport, which was a late departure when we booked through Azamara Cruises. It went very smoothly as we were given a hotel with all amenities for the day and then picked up and taken to the airport. This was our first cruise ever and we felt we needed that additional support. We have since used Dayuse.co.uk which also suited our needs, as we selected hotels that offered shuttle buses to the airport.

I must admit I carefully choose my wines and 9/10 times it works for me. This method is, choose the Country, choose the alcoholic content, do I like the label and the the name of the wine.😀 On a more serious note, any of you wine buffs travelling to the UK could try the English wines (especially those produced on the south coast of England) that are being produced. Most very noteworthy, although quite expensive. They are also giving much larger wine producers a run for their money.

It would be nice if regular wines onboard reflected where you are in the world. When we were last onboard, serving Italian wine everyday when sailing around New Zealand did not seem right somehow.

When in Dundee we plan to visit RSS Discovery and the V&A which are close by to each other. Does anyone know what part of town the ships shuttle bus will drop us off please as it seems a bit of a trek to walk from the dock.

Just a couple of questions. When do we get our final paperwork, we are on a cruise mid July? Do they take your photograph at the docks for your boarding card, or is there somewhere online we can do this prior to boarding on the Azamara website. Thanks for your help.

Although we were not on a cruise, we were on a rail journey across South Africa, we were booked to go to Robben Island, alas, we had three days of high winds and the trip was cancelled. Check, you can get a refund if need be. Often bad weather is an exception for not giving a refund in a lot of cases.
