Hello, thanks for the info.
We booked early saver fare which it seems doesn't give you very much in the way of additional perks (well non to be exact!). Lesson learned for the next adventure.
We are travelling down from Worcester so 3hrs max I'd say.
Hi all, I'm sailing on Iona to Norway on August 17th and what I would like to know is...
A, best place to park my car for this trip?
B, what time does the ship usually set sail?
The answers will help me decide whether or not drive down in the morning or arrive the day before.
Thanks in advance.
Hi all, my daughter has a PF cabin on Iona on her own and may invite a friend to join her.
What I would like to know is, are these double inside cabins suitably sized to accommodate 2 people comfortably. TIA
And if they were so concerned about your potential alcohol consumption why did they put the price of the soft drink packages up too! You would think they'd lower those 😂
Apart from the potential privacy issue I suppose the other thing that would concern my wife is that excitement of looking down at the sea splashing on the side of the ship and the sound sending you to sleep.
I know it's a small thing but that's what is amazing about these trips.
Maybe we were spoilt on our first cruise last year on Azura with a fantastic balcony cabin with no obstruction and no one above, but you never know, we might not get deck 8!!
Haha thanks for the update and love your terminology!
I think my wife is more concerned if we did get deck 8 you haven't got the luxury of your cup of tea in your pants overlooking the sea and fjords, but I get what you mean!!
We're going in August, can't wait but I'm worried we might end up on deck 8.We booked an early saver with upgrades.
Bit inexperienced in cruising but our first P&O cruise last year was amazing so hopefully this isn't ruined with a rubbish cabin location.
