Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/20)

  1. Thank you so much for the information, and I hope you had smooth travels back home 🙂
  2. @BeechMan That is a great update, thank you. Which dives have you done so far? What time did you get onboard? Did you take a taxi to the ship? Enjoy the rest of your trip!
  3. @BeechMan Thank you for the information, and I can get in touch with PG for more details 🙂 Please let me know how it goes! I hope you all have a great cruise and some interesting dives too!
  4. @BeechMan This is great, thank you. Do we still have to stand in line to book dives...or can you book them by emailing the divemaster back? Did you book directly with PG? My TA booked our trip, so I'm not certain if they will email that sort of info to her or not. I'm disappointed if we will not be able to do any dives until Bora Bora! Were you expecting that? I have booked outside dive shop for Nuku Hiva and I think I will in Rangiroa too. C'est la vie!
  5. Hee, hee, hee! You will have to send me an update on how your onboarding goes!
  6. I'm overthinking but...do you think it's possible for the diving to be booked up if I'm not onboard early enough? I have the PG transfer booked from the Intercontinental to the ship, but will I be too late to sign up for diving? We are limited in which dives we can do because of our certifications. As others have mentioned, I could always take a cab instead... Thoughts?
  7. @BeechMan I agree - the diving options for open water certified look good. If there is anything different during your cruise, I would love to know as we are on the August cruise. In case you are interested, in Nuku Hiva there is a dive shop that I found in the Lonely Planet guide. PG only has advanced dives offered in this location. The diveshop is called Nuku Dive and when I emailed they responded right away with options for easier dives (nukuhivadiving@gmail.com)
  8. @JinxyB Thank you so much for taking the time to post this. According to my TA, you were on the very first passengers on this itinerary! And this is much more detail than we have been able to get online! You're the absolute best!
  9. @JinxyB This is amazing! THANK YOU soooooo much! @BeechMan I believe your family is certified...I see there are certified dives (second column) in most ports (some are advanced certification only - which we are not).
  10. @JinxyB Unfortunately the dive schedule did not upload properly, so if you could repost when you can that would be great. I'm glad you had a great time, and safe travels home 🙂
  11. @JinxyB Can you please do me giant favor while you are onboard? The onboard diving should have a list of available dives (might be called Scuba Diving Booking Form)...could you please get a copy/photo that you could post when you are back home? These forms are available for most itineraries, but not this one because it is new. Huge thanks 🙂
  12. @Tom Sandra I did not notice the changed itinerary online, but I see it has been updated. I hope this doesn't mess up any of the third party excursions you have planned. Our August 3 sailing is now 46 days away, but excursions for the sailing have not been released yet so I'm really looking forward to the excursion booklet that @JinxyB will post.
  13. @JinxyB I received an updated itinerary from PG today with Moorea added, perhaps it is the same as your sailing (see attached). June Updated Itinerary.pdf
  14. @JinxyBThank you for your information so far 🙂 Has the watersports (back of boat) been open at all yet?
